I've been on the fence with the refresh... What's your all's thoughts? I've got a 22 sport max tow that I've been super tempted to upgrade into a Rubicon or Mojave. .. got to say though the refresh is what's holding me back though. Seams like they only added even more complexity to an already complex vehicle. .. ... Any of you 24+ owners love the new features?
If I was upgrading out of a Gladiator that had literally nothing for options, I think it would be worth while, but I have little to gain from my '22 Max Tow that already has power windows / locks / dual zone climate / remote start / Android Auto - which is all I really wanted anyway when I custom ordered it. Seat heaters would have been nice in hindsight but I can add that in the aftermarket without looking too janky.

I have tried two and both were busts for me because the USB stays "hot" with the vehicle off, making the wireless Car Play/Android Auto adapter always ready to connect. I'd be sitting in my living room trying to use WiFi on my phone and the damned thing would always auto-connect to the adapter in the Jeep instead. It is a total deal breaker and I haven't used it again for months.
I had the same issue, it will eventually go off but it is irritating. I added a sheet of tin foil on the inside of the console box on the side facing the house.....keeps it from connecting to the phone whe I'm home, but still works when I get in vehicle.

There is a fix in the forums to switch the USB to on with ACC or IGN only to prevent that from happening.

I saw some chat here about wireless CarPlay. Is older Gladiator owners can get wireless CarPlay by simply buying an adapter that plugs into the usb port from Amazon. I use one without issue but I mostly plug in anyway to charge.
😂.… I had a wireless aftermarket setup in my 2016 Canyon. I had to buy about 3 different ones to find one that actually worked. Returned the others.

The wireless feature isn't very useful as phone doesn't live long without power. I still plug in every drive due to habit.

It’s not a deal breaker, but now that I have uconnect 5 in my Ram, wireless CarPlay is hands down a game changer. I wouldn’t not buy a vehicle because of it, but it’s high on the nice to have list.

It is somewhat phone dependent, but the average phone should lose about 10% per hour of charge while carplay or android auto is active. I keep a charge cable hooked to one of the rear USB ports to plug in if needed, but usually I don't bother unless I am driving for an hour or more. YMMV

My 2021 80th Anniv. Sport S came pretty well equipped and I'm not a "techy" type person so not necessarily interested in those types of updates. I wouldn't mind the full-time 4WD transfer case on the X models.
I do like the 2024 grill refresh however and would swap mine out if I could find something reasonably priced.

Just had a 2025 wrangler as a rental. I hated the big screen, as I hate all big screens. The 2020-2024 is tolerable mostly because it's so compact and I don't have to go tapping all over. My initial impression when I got in was that it looked better, but when I turned the rental back in, my thought was "good riddance".
Just returned from a vacation and had a very similar experience. Really don't care for the redesigns they did to put that 12" screen in, and we never did quite master it in 10 days.

The reason I disconnected the adapter.
