Got a pair of oem led headlights last week and everything was fine till last night when I noticed the driver side went out, can you replace the bulb inside these units or do I have to get another headlight housing?

LED is a sealed unit, if the diode died, you need to replace the entire headlight.

Ive never seen an LED headlight be serviceable with a bulb, it is always whole assembly in all my humble experience.

Unfortunately it is sold as one unit and is not serviceable as mentioned above. Here are links with info

https://parts.allmoparparts.com/oem...headlamp-headlight-right-passenger-55112878ag

Alternatively if you want to change both to the Black Bezel versions they are individually cheaper

Are you sure it's the light assy. I saw a YT video showing what pins were ground and power probably be easy to put some power to it or just measure power off your existing wiring going to the light

I just had this happen on my 2022 Gladiator Rubicon.

It came from the factory with the fancy OEM LED headlights, and now the driver's side regular headlight is dead, but high beams still work.

When I called my local Jeep dealer, they said I could buy a "replacement bulb" for the fancy OEM LED headlights for $19.99, but when I pulled the LED headlight housing out of the Gladiator (after removing the front grill) to remove the old "bulb", I couldn't see any way to replace any bulb in it. It appears fully sealed. The parts guy talked to a tech, and told me to open up the bottom section of the housing, but when I did that I can get inside.... but still see no bulbs to replace....

Based on the info above, it looks like my local jeep parts store was full of it perhaps?

@AllMoparParts.com - any idea if this "should" be covered by the Jeep factory warranty? I think I have 25k miles on my gladiator.... seems odd to design a sealed headlight unit, and charge $600+ a side, and not allow bulb replacement.

If I have to buy a replacement housing, I'll buy it from you folks.... just wondering if the dealer "should" / will replace under warranty.

Thanks!

I would think so but have emailed our dealer warranty admin for clarification.
