Your argument is self defeating. Since most people do not realize that a 5 decibel drop is that significant they decided to express their measured sound as a percentage

All they did was write their advertising in a matter that the majority of non-scientific Americans could understand.
I only knew that because my friend had a stereo that could hit like 150dB when we were in high school. That was significantly louder than a 143dB system.

Anyways, unless you're an audiophile or work for OSHA people would think, big whoop 5dB less.......probably doesn't mean that much.

I saw one Saturday and the are quite small. The plumbing runs horizontally across the front of the trailer and hangs down quite low. It would last a moment off road

Yeah they say it's their most affordable one yet but 37k is crazy to me for that. I do like their stuff but it's too expensive. Did you see the camper van they make? Wow that's nice. Costs more than a house.

Yes I have and they are nice, albeit quite small

And in deference to your effort to put the thread back on course, this is the current front runner in my personal choice category. Opus Air Offroad 4 sleeper

Keep in mind that most Offroad trailers are set up so that people spend most of their time outside..

Here is another option that has a boatload of amenities but is also about 50K. They have other smaller sizes as well.

Or if you want a fully enclosed trailer maybe this will do...

https://escapetrailer.com/trailers/the-5-0-escape/

I haven’t heard of anyone mounting a goose neck hitch to a Glad but the trailer only weighs 5500 pounds so it might be doable.
Having a goose neck hitch will make this much more towable...

I saw an Opus camper this weekend too. Really a very smart idea. Just unfold the ends and turn on the air pump and it self inflated and you’re ready to camp.

Conqueror is super nice, but interior height is just too low for me.

Yes off road trailers are intended to be lived out of more so than lived in.

The annex and 8 foot ceiling height along with relatively low weight and attractive price have me leaning toward the Opus. Optioned out about $30k, I'm going to look at one this coming weekend unless something goes wrong.

This is exactly what I wanted but the 25k price tag was a bit much

I am also going camping with my iron friend. I plan to sleep in the tent at the back, but it seems to me that I need a special tent so that it is not cold. Which ones do you use? These options have advised me, but it seems to me that this is a little unsafe. Or use the cheapest option, but come up with additional heating?

So I'm looking at getting an off road camper that a manual gladiator can tow. There are plenty of options until you need one that you can actually stand up in and costs less than 18k new with all the options I want. So far I've only found the Escapade Alpine (http://www.offroadtrailerinfo.com/o...wr2QjHMUwGfsID-m4Ru9-EVU1p1nak3LW3YQZlzZCqWww) and High Altitude Trailers (https://www.highaltitudetrailers.com/) has one in the making but not in production yet. I was hoping someone had some more options for me or has some good insight into the Alpine or whatever High Alt will make. Sure, I'd love to get a blank one and DYI, but I have no time for that. Plus it rains so much on the east coast now that we want the stand up interior height option since we might be spending a decent amount of time inside when camping. I should also note that I like these types of offroad campers because its easy to do repairs and simple things like bolt on a hot water heater, stick on a solar panel ,and maybe hide that whiskey still somewhere.
Did a 15000 mile cross country to Alaska and back in this rig in 2019. Plan on going again this year flat towing my PUNK’N Gladiator if it ever gets delivered! We will stop to camp and do day trips in the Gladiator. Different strokes...

That’s quite the camper and I assume diesel dually (F350 or F450 or ?).

Hauling that and flat towing a Gladiator is way more than I’d want to be driving especially thousands of miles. Be safe!

2017 F450 and a 2018 Lance 1172 double slide out unit. She’s awesome!
