Ok, my 2015 Ram eco diesel has 150 thousand miles on it. I’ve always used T6.
Is this 3 gen any different.

Yes, the third gen ecodiesel is a redesign and has a different required API oil spec than the second gen. Use of T6 in the third gen can lead to deposits building up in the turbo as noted in posts 788 & 791, though there have been people who've apparently had no issues running T6 in their third gen. YMMV

I'm not sure. This isn't the first time they've put Pennzoil Platinum on clearance. I bought 13 x 5-gallon jugs of Platinum Euro for $14.25 (which came out to $2.85 per quart) back in 2022. I bought enough oil for 5 years. Today, I'm still using the same stash from 2022.

I've been using valvoline European 5w40 after my jeep way expired... No issues. $35 for 5 qt jug. My egr tube and MAP sensor gunked on my recent oil change @62k miles but not as bad as others I've seen

Just bought 12 qts of Amsoil MS Euro 5w40 for $149 for my next oil change. Why 12 qts? So the next time I only have to buy 8 qts for the next 3 oil changes.

There's an oil shortage coming, so I'd recommend having enough oil for three years. Prices are already going up, and most shelves will begin to be empty by June.
