I'm really lacking knowledge when it comes to wheels, I have the 2" Mopar lift on my 22' Willys. I think I want 35 x 12.5s on 17" x 9 neg offset wheels. Questions are is that enough lift? How much poke? Pictures would be great. Also any recommendations on the best places to order especially if they mount and balance would be most helpful.

-9 offset with 12.5 width tires is too much, in my opinion. +6 was too much for me so I covered mine in XR fender flares, at -9 you'd be .6 inches further out on either side

Thanks, now I see that -12 offset is probably not a great idea. I would like some poke with the 35s. Does anyone know about how far they would sick out with 0 offset?

The stock offset should be stamped on the inside of your factory wheels.
I don't know what it is for the Willys line. That's your job.
Here's the Mojave (+37.17MM)
Jeep Gladiator Opinions before I order wheels/tires Stock rim size

Use that as a baseline. Then simply calculate the amount of offset you need on the new rims based upon how much rim width you add.For example, a one inch wider rim adds about 25mm to the overall width, so you'd need -12 to -13mm off of factory offset to stay with the same inside position.

Q-techs retro aluminum CJ wheels are 17x8.5 and 5.2" of back-spacing and 11mm offset
This is with 35x12.50. I have a hard time keeping the side of the truck clean the way it is. I wouldn't want anything sticking out further

That's what I'm looking for right there, I do also like the really wide stance but I throw mud all over the side now with these puny stock mud tires! +11 or 12 offset seems the best choice for the look I want without throwing too much debris onto the sides. Thanks

Man that is fantastic! Thanks, had I known about that site I wouldn't have had to waste everyone's time?To be able to actually see exactly how the setup you are thinking about will look on your truck is so great. Appreciate all the help.
