So I got these and out them in. I knew about the issues ahead of time and already had a Tazer for my tires and gear job so wasn't to worried about it. But I can't get these to work and as far as I know I've done everything I was supposed to.

I had factory leds so I unplugged the resistors and I went in my tazor to the led taillights and turned that off and back on about a dozen times now trying different things like turning it off and then back on then rebooting. Off and then on with no reboot. Off rebooting and then back on and rebooting and nothing works. It will reset them for when I start it back up but then after 10-15 seconds of the signal being on I get the signal out message and the fast blinking on the dash like I have a blown turn signal.

Was wondering if anyone had any other tips I may not have tried, also sent an email to oracle and awaiting a response. If I cant get a fix I'll just yank them out and go back to factory

Hello with the Taser be sure to first clear the existing codes, then disable turn signal lamp diagnostics you should be good!

I dont have an option to disable turn signal diagnostics on the taser. The only option on the taser is led tail lights on or off

Do we need a Tazer to make the lights work? I've a set on order, and will not use a Tazer on my Jeep, so they will go right back to Oracle...

It is pretty random on who needs one or who doesn't. I was having issues with the reverse light flickering on my Sport S with halogens, swapped them to new Mojave with halogens and no issues.

Hey there. It'd be best if you reach out to Z Automotive' s tech support for this. The Tazer is a confirmed solution for using aftermarket tails on an LED Jeep. Many users here are running the tails with their Tazer or JSCAN with no issue.

There either has to be an issue with the Tazer (Firmware update needed, defect, etc.) or something is just not being set correctly.

Also, have you tried un-marrying and re-marrying the Tazer?

I’m having the same issue. Factory LED package. I am using a tazer and the only 2 options on the tail light section is: LED-yes, LED-no. I’ve tried both and I’m still getting the error message. Am I doing something stupid? The tazer is new to me.

With Jscan there is a setting in the euro to us lighting and the option to disable rear turn signal diagnostics. This and clearing the codes for the lamp out has solved the issue on my LED JTR. The flipping LED settings back and forth did nothing for my truck.

Tazer should have a similar option to disable rear turn signal diagnostics.

Hey there,

Here's what you need to do, pulled directly from the Tazer owner's manual.

So not to muddy things up here but is the expectation that the light will throw an error if running the factory LED tail lights? Any other unexpected behavior?
And using the tazer is the only way to correct this, and requires to just cycle the LED to halogen and then back to LED once?

At this time, the only way to clear the error is with a programmer. Per my post on the main thread for these, you can get on the wait list for a non-programmer solution free of charge when we have one available by completing this form here: https://forms.gle/BzUYkNamRzWuybqc9

OK and does this happen to all LED vehicles or some? Is clearing the error something that needs to be done on regular basis or if done once it sticks?
I have a tazer so not hugely concerned, but don't wanna have to keep on messing with settings.
My light's still on back order - ETA now is 1/31 (order placed back in oct - on Morris4x4) but that definitely has me a bit worried.

Have you determined a non-programmer solution and/or have an idea when customers will have a fix?

We are still working on it. No exact ETA as of yet but we are very close.
