Plastic or steel bumper

Ok I’m asking a dumb a$$ question. I’m looking to get a winch plate and winch for my 2021 Gladiator sport. I need to know how to tell if I got a plastic or steel bumper. Forgive me if if I’m being dumb comes with being 70. All my other jeeps have winches, but no so on this one.

The difference is the outer skin

Put a fridge magnet on it. If it sticks it’s steel. If not, plastic.

Most likely a plastic skinned bumper, the plastic bumpers have some sheet metal under the plastic but not much to it. Unless it's been replaced before you got it.
If you snap a picture and post it. You can get a confirmation on it fairly quick.

If there are 20+ nickel sized visible Torx screws all over the bumper, it's the steel one. If not, plastic.

If you change from a plastic to a steel and add Winch it will lower the front rake I had to add a spacers leveling kit

What product did you use to level? I'm just waiting on my winch plate to arrive and will be going through the same.

I installed a 1 1/2 inch spacer lift form Amazon it was 60 dollars it’s on sell now for 46 dollars

If your bumper has cut out for winch that should work plastic bumpers don’t and don’t protect Jeep in a collision my neighbor ran into a trailer hitch it didn’t set off airbags but bent frame had new frame installed
