The RK lift handles the extra weight like a champ when I load up the truck. I don’t run that much constant weight though after the aluminum and weight reduction. By constant weight, I mean pieces bolted to the truck that don’t come off or out.Awesome build! You mention the weight saga? Did you have to remove/replace those couple of items because weight and its affect on handling? I ask because I am ready to pull the trigger on the same RK lift, but have been wondering how there spring rate handles a heavy truck like mine which sits at +/- 200lb gvwr.

We camped at Stone Mountain about halfway along the parkway. That was nice, if a little more of a detour to get there than expected. We got back on the Transamerica after Asheville, a little after Great Smokey Mountains, that trail gets really fun!yes it is beautiful. Did you camp up there?
I'm doing the TAT start to finish starting in late April, so will get to see these sites soon.We camped at Stone Mountain about halfway along the parkway. I has a blast in there.
Fort Mountain State Park had an incredible campground. Our pull in was right next to the lake. I forgot to take a picture, too busy enjoying it
Here are a couple shots from along the TN, GA part of the trail.
I wouldn't plan on getting over Skyline Drive in UT until any sooner than late May.I'm doing the TAT start to finish starting in late April, so will get to see these sites soon.
With the carbon fiber are you curing it? Reason I ask is, years back I worked at an aerospace company and we always had to cure the carbon and silica phenolics in a hydroclave or autoclave. Tough as hell once cured however.I have played with making things out of carbon fiber. You can get fiber and the appropriate resin. And now that I have planted this idea....your mind will be going into high gear.
