I just pulled the 3.5's from the dash and the 3.5's and 4s from the soundbar as my new speakers are out for delivery. I decided to go with 4x3.5s and 2x4" to replace them rather than the 6.5s. Using infinity for all 6 speakers. Interesting observation with the multimeter. The 3.5s measure 3.3 ohms so the impedance is likely 4 ohms. The 4" speakers measure 1.9 ohms so they are 2 ohms speakers. The 3 ohm infinitys should increase the power output on the 3.5s, but will actually reduce it to the 4s.
Did you install yet? What are your impressions if so?

Much clearer highs for sure. No experience with the audio uprising, but 6 new infinitys are pretty damn good. Have an nvx 8" underseat sub to add too but haven't got around to it. The 3.5" and 4" in the sound bar fit but the screw holes don't line up. Some self tapping screws is all it took.

Just as a side note: Second Skin was having their B-Stock sale. Be a good time to pick up some dampening on the cheap. It could help if you want to go to the effort of plastering some stuff on the top side of the soundbar and other speaker enclosures. Second skin makes some quality stuff for sound/heat control.
