Maybe for some people it is an option DIY wash their jeeps. My wife work at least 12 hours a day and has over a one hour commute each way to work. I’m retired but after getting ran over on my motorcycle in 2017 I’m severely handicapped. I do often hand wash my Gladiator if I have the two or three days it takes me to wash it outside. In the winter time I often drive it through a local touch less wash. I do have to remove my roof rack mounted cargo box first however. Since my Gladiator is modified specifically for me to operate, driving another vehicle really isn’t an option for me.Had a 2000 Camaro SS that had damage inflicted upon it by an automatic car wash (obviously not a modified Jeep) and it was a battle to get the damage covered(6 months long). After that I swore I’d never use another automatic car wash! I never have!!!! So to all that say you don’t have time I can wash a lot of cars in 6 months! We do really have time. Time( hours and seconds) we don’t count but waste a lot of.
When I lived in Houston half the strip clubs in town had their dancers out washing cars in the parking lot on sunny days. And there are a lot of strip clubs in Houston!I am very fortunate . Every weekend in my neighborhood there are these three girls in their two piece swim suits with a hose and a bucket that will wash and dry my Jeep for ten bucks.
Because I have better things to do. Or maybe I'm just lazy.TO BE HONEST WITH YOU WHY WOULD U EVEN GO THROUGH A CAR WASH JUST WASH IT YOURSELF
Not the Gladiator but my Wrangler - do not go thru those auto car washes. I've been a member of one for 5-6 years they KNEW I had a Jeep because I had to fill out the make, color and model to match my window sticker so the gate would open. The car wash malfunctioned and busted my windshield, dented the window frame, ripped of my roof rack and ruined my hardtop. So they took my $39.99/month knowing I had a Jeep.
No literature anywhere that said no Jeeps. The only literature was they were not responsible for wipers, antenna and mirrors. They took the stance that they were paying for nothing since Jeeps weren't allowed thru their car wash even though an attendant has let me thru for years and they take my money. So with $12k in damage I had to go thru my insurance and my insurance is suing them.
So their stance was they don't allow Wranglers and Gladiators. So beware if you use an auto car wash every now and then, if there's damage they'll probably try this on you as well.
Finally I have a reason to visit Houston. When I lived in Houston half the strip clubs in town had their dancers out washing cars in the parking lot on sunny days. And there are a lot of strip clubs in Houston!![]()
Weird, I've gone through Take 5 in my JT as well.It was Take 5 Car Wash, I was under the impression they were a national chain. We have 3 of them where I live and the local one that damaged my Jeep apologized and said they'd take care of it. It was corporate and their insurance company, Fleet Response that hoo doo'd me.
Pics or it didn't happen...I am very fortunate . Every weekend in my neighborhood there are these three girls in their two piece swim suits with a hose and a bucket that will wash and dry my Jeep for ten bucks.

I get my Jeep dirty a LOT and sometimes I just want to run thru that to knock off the bulk until I can clean it.TO BE HONEST WITH YOU WHY WOULD U EVEN GO THROUGH A CAR WASH JUST WASH IT YOURSELF
The people worried about brushes are very likely not running through the woods. So, to address the actual issue in the original post...
If liability disclaimers worked, lawyers wouldn't have jobs. You can say, "I'm not responsible for the things I do with my equipment" all you want, a lawyer will walk right through that nonsense for at the very minimum, a settlement to avoid a trial.
As far as everyone too good to go through a car wash, ell oh ell @ you. Mine goes through the one with brushes 3-4 times a week. If you're worried about that, wait until you learn what branches in the forest do to the paint.
There's nothing saying they do not allow Jeeps. After a full month of getting no where with them I had to go thru my insurance and an attorney and that's when they said they don't allow Jeeps. The only literature out there is they don't cover wipers, antenna and side mirrors.I’m confused Jeeps are allowed or not? You say no literature prohibiting Jeeps but somewhere they do?
