My wife almost got sideswiped when she had a green light by a convoy of these goobers that I assume were heading to this event running the red to stick together. We are talking like a dozen jeeps blowing through the red light, and they even had the audacity to honk at her. I hope all 233 arrests were those dweebs

We got a multi-police motorcade escort for the Gillman Jeep Meet a few weeks ago. Every single stop light, stop sign, and intersection was blocked by the time we hit them. People were major pissed. Lol

See now that I support. Sure it's a little annoying having to spend 2 or 3 minutes waiting at a green light for a group of people to go through, but they did it the right way with the police escort, and blocking lights so it's safe and legal vs. the amateur hour sideshow BS.

To be fair, it's not like many new yorkers drive lol. Someone from New York tell me how much you drive and prove us wrong lol.

As a former LEO in a major tourist beach destination I can say with some authority that 233 arrests over a weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) is NOTHING. That is a 72 hour period. We would easily arrest 233 people a shift for stupid but relatively benign behaviors such as minors in possession of alcohol, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, riding on portions of vehicles that they were not supposed to ride on (think surfing cars), driving under suspension (and various other traffic offenses), etc.

And 50 hospitalizations sounds an awful lot like ‘he’s too drunk to go to jail so send him to the hospital so he doesn’t throw up in my car’.

Breaking down by hour you can easily see that comes to 3.24 arrests and .69 hospitalizations per hour.

With that said, I always found it true that you can have instant A hole, just add alcohol.
