No disrespect meant, but that was brutal to read and follow. So new to this forum just bought gladiator sport loaded up with options but sport pay cash deal and drive away so at hotel and 200 miles I’m looking at all my lights and condensation in all including my directionals on fenders call the jeep dealer sure bring it buy we will look at it ! They claim to order all new lights seeing the problem I’m ok with a issue they were going to take care of. then I leave next morning I’m looking underneath to see what the underside looks like and wet on wheel , touch and a wiff and it’s gear oil leaking call them tell them they say bring it in we’d. i going have my little military trailer attached no where to leave it so they say we’ll bring it by tomorrow we will take the trailer off no prob . Can be done and moved by hand less than 400 pounds . They pull it in the shop with trailer on still and I’m waiting and I mentioned I just read some are having issues with this on line : they claim nope first we’ve heard lol yeh ok well I say ok well I now had it back at 200 miles for lights and 400 miles for axle leak would you just document this for me Heard the response —- Om not here to accommodate your every Fn need no I won’t you want that take it where you want but get it the F out of my Fn shop / opens the door from his office and yells to his workers — Someone get this fn truck the f out of my fn shop now . I know this dealer has had a poor review pattern but this was absolute disgrace to costumer that just dropped 47 grand to them 2 days before never looked at it they backed it out and I got on it and drove away calling jeep and bringing it to another dealer in newhampshire . Next dealer was very understanding of what I had asked for from the dealer I bought it from had no issue logging things in. Course now parts have to be re ordered after the actually see it in by appointment in a few days SInce that day I also discovered other issues as well
Things I’m reading about that others also have experienced im not new To jeep world.Sport 2 door to a rubicon 2 door I had for over 10 years I know jeeps fairly well But I just gave up my2012 rubiconand dropped a lot of money to be treated like dirt from some ignorant dealership service manager that doesn’t know much about anything to be quite honest this sets a bad tone to start out with a new jeep truck Not even a day to actually look and admire it, in a sense Jeeps gonna have to satisfiy me on this one or. It will. Be traded and or last jeep product in my possession
Yes I’m sure, New apple cell phone lol . The key pad is so small on it one finger covers three letters never mind punctuation. Sorry for you pains ?No disrespect meant, but that was brutal to read and follow.

Well I’m thinking of asking jeep care to toss on 410 axle gearing as a compensation , See what they say anyway .I’m not thrilled w/ 3.73 gearing after having 410s in my rubicon jk . I feel the 3.73 might be fine on a jk but a truck idk . Plus if I put 35s on it later I’m thinking it will be Awful going up a incline lol it has a job doing it on these little stock tires. I’m not exactly thrilled with this vehicle as I expected . All the bells and whistles don’t cover bad design flaws . I should have ordered one but dealer told me 3 month wait most likely . If I had ordered it it would have been ordered with 410s and hardly any bells and whistles ,they only screw things up after time anyway & costly to repair . I won’t say I don’t love it but not off to a great start for the money spent $$$ . It feels more like I’m driving a decent second hand jeep rather than a $47,000 dollar truck brand new . Wet drivers side carpet also . Seems to want to stay at same rpm’s when you go to down shift if not surge while your clutch is in to shift into a lower gear. That in itself will wear brake pads more than normal wear and tear if your braking to slow it down. Feels like your on cruise control and trying to down shift. . Definitely has some buggs in it@jeepmojo
All of those issues should be under warranty. Sounds like a terrible experience, but not uncommon issues. Too bad the manager didn't want to
document your problems. They get paid far less for warranty work.@jeepmojo

They are not going to cover the cost to put you into 4.10's.Well I’m thinking of asking jeep care to toss on 410 axle gearing as a compensation , See what they say anyway .I’m not thrilled w/ 3.73 gearing after having 410s in my rubicon jk . That's not bugs - that rpm is by design. There are emissions reasons.Well I’m thinking of asking jeep care to toss on 410 axle gearing as a compensation , See what they say anyway .I’m not thrilled w/ 3.73 gearing after having 410s in my rubicon jk . I’ll see tomorrow at 1:45 pm lol course now condensation cleared in lights and It’s going to snow . So make it harder to see a leak in slush. Every thing wet anyway. I’m going to ask jeep care to toss in410s I think .Seeing the axle needs replacement . No ??That second dealership getting your Gladiator issues taken care of?
If you have an axle seal leaking at the right rear, they'll replace the axle shaft - not the entire differential, in most cases. That axle shaft takes minutes compared to the expense of swapping gears. To give you two new entire axle assemblies (differential assemblies) for an axle leak is way out there.I’ll see tomorrow at 1:45 pm lol course now condensation cleared in lights and It’s going to snow . So make it harder to see a leak in slush. Every thing wet anyway. I’m going to ask jeep care to toss in410s I think .Seeing the axle needs replacement . No ??
If I read your first post correctly, the rear leaking axle shaft issue is that they have been chucking seals and replacement axle shaft assemblies, not the whole rear differential assembly.I’ll see tomorrow at 1:45 pm lol course now condensation cleared in lights and It’s going to snow . So make it harder to see a leak in slush. Every thing wet anyway. I’m going to ask jeep care to toss in410s I think .Seeing the axle needs replacement . No ??
If they have to replace the axle then its really not a cost difference . I’m my eyes . I had a jeep way back with 3.21 gearing lol it sucked put nitro trail grapplers on it 33 s couldn’t go up a hill with out beating the snot out of it. Traded it later that year for a rubi . The 33.s were nothing for it to go up hill . So what I’m saying is this ! A truck with 3.73 gearing and all that added weight is like a 4 door jk with 3.21 gearing With 33s . I think a gladiator with 33s or 35s and 3.73 is about equal to 3.21 gearing These trucks should be 410s unless you intend on leaving stock tires on it. As far as design flaws I’m meaning factory issues carried over from years and years of design flaw like same old wet carpet due to seal leaks in pillars poor axles seals prob will have same as the jk. Cheap ball joints weak track bar You know the norm! That's not bugs - that rpm is by design. There are emissions reasons.
Don't over-think the brake thing. I've never had brake pads go fewer than about 80,000 miles, stick or automatic.
I've towed and hauled just fine with 3.73:1 gear ratio. Granted, if I went to 35s I might - maybe - feel differently, but for stock or 33's, the 3.73 ratio is fine even when towing or hauling decent payload.
Heck, my Chevy had a a lot higher gear ratio and towed and hauled more than a Gladiator.
>>Awful going up a incline lol it has a job doing it on these little stock tires.<<
Then hold a lower gear if it's a stick. Too many shift these things way too early and never let them wind up. Give it some RPM. I have the same gear ratio and have no issues. Mine is automatic and it shifts too early on hills - if it was a stick I'd be winding the thing up a lot more.
And like HOOTBRO said - you are having a vivid daydream if you think they are going to give you a couple grand worth of gear swap. You've not had any real issues compared to what others have experienced with vehicles.
And finally - what design flaws? I've not seen any real design flaws (other than a weak clutch for what the truck is capable of)
Do you not understand that if they replace one axle assembly with 4.10's, they have to replace the other one also?If they have to replace the axle then its really not a cost difference . I’m my eyes . I had a jeep way back with 3.21 gearing lol it sucked put nitro trail grapplers on it 33 s couldn’t go up a hill with out beating the snot out of it. Well yeh this is true about the front not included but rear . If they replace the whole axle assembly it’s no big deal if it’s shaft then yes I then see the point in cost difference! I’ve heard the whole axle ???? If it’s just replacing a shaft yeh I get what your sayingIf I read your first post correctly, the rear leaking axle shaft issue is that they have been chucking seals and replacement axle shaft assemblies, not the whole rear differential assembly.
As to getting 4.10's they would have to also replace the non-leaking front axles as a match set. They are not going to do that.
Jeep's obligation is to restore you to a working "as built" configuration. You do not garner any compensation beyond that.
Well this may very well be true Might trade up again to the 22 gladiator rubicon if it can’t pull 35s well enoughDo you not understand that if they replace one axle assembly with 4.10's, they have to replace the other one also?
In what world do you think they will absorb that cost?
My 2020 Gladiator was a Rubicon with 4.10's and it handled 35's reasonably well. With my 2021 Willys and 3.73's, it sucks with 35's even with wheel size correction flashed in. Always seems to hang a gear lower than it should with finding 7th gear rare and 8th gear next to never.Well this may very well be true Might trade up again to the 22 gladiator rubicon if it can’t pull 35s well enough
