Hello jeepers,
So my question may be a stupid one, but I really like to get other jeepers input on this subject.
So I have a 2025 Glad Sport S, the mods I have done so far is Rough Country 2.5 leveling kit, 35X12.5 R17 tires, bumpers front and back, and my winch is coming. But here is what I was thinking. I was thinking to remove my 2.5 leveling kit and installing a 3.5 suspension lift. So my questions I would like to get answers on is first, is this a waste of money and time, second will it be that much of a difference that I would notice it myself after it installed. And last if I go this route, will it keep my jeep level still, or will it be rake again?

Thank you for taking the time to read and give me your response.

Well…. a 3.5” suspension kit will only give you 1.0” of lift more than what you have now. And yes…the 3.5” suspension lift will also lift the rear 3.5”, so you’ll get your rake back.

What are you trying to accomplish?

Doesn’t seem logical to spend all that $ on a 3.5” when #1) you don’t want the rake and #2) only 1” additional lift up front.

It’s up to what leveling kit you installed post a picture of leveling kit it might just need additional parts added like better shocks new springs instead of spacers a track bar and adding a winch might increase your rake

What are you trying to accomplish? What sort of trails will you be taking your Jeep on? What's your budget?
My goal is to have it a little high, but not crazy high. And for offloading nothing to extreme, mud, hills, little rock crawling.

I agree, but for some reason I am just not happy with the height. Don't know how to explain it, I mean it looks good.

My question is what do you want your Gladiator to look like?

With the 3.5" Lift your wheels will fill less of the wheel well.
I personally do not like a "small" wheel in the wheel well.
I would say if you bump up to a 3.5" lift then you need to go to 37" tires.

BUT that is my personal preference. Which takes me back to my original question;

What do you want your Gladiator to look like?

Pic here is 2.5 inch sky jacker spacer vs a 3.5 inch MetalCloak - both on 35x12.5x17 tires. When I considered 3.5 inch lift I had to think about drive shaft changes too.

Yes I noticed a difference. Mostly in ride quality being better. I now run 37x12.5x18 tires.

I put a 3" lift plus 3/4" puck in front to level it off a bit. Steel bumper and the winch caused sag, so that was the driver to get the lift in first place in lieu of just a level kit. Shop I went with said that probably what I was looking for. Not too high and took most of the rake out too while compensating for the added weight up front. Happy with it.

Winch is sythetic, so meant weight in general not that picked overly heavy because it had a steel line... same with the full width bumper it isn't actually a super heavy thick bumper. Didn't need zombie killer so didn't get one. So heavy as heavy for shirty stock mopar shocks. Not meant heavy as I added 500 lbs to the front heavy. Also was planned out to get lift before the bumper and winch, so was planned out as compensation. It was fine with the bumper but added weight of winch would have been pushing it. So got the lift before winch went on.
