Right! But a British or imperial gallon is about 20% larger than our little American gallon.
But after I sent that, common sense kicked in and I just converted your metric consumption…
BTW:
Whatever Google uses it is what it is haha, I had no idea there was multiple gallons LOL.
Haha, most people don’t :-/ … it’s dumb.

anyways, what are your highway speeds? Your city MPG looks normal, but your highway is amazing, I’m guessing you’re cruising about 55-60mpg, lol. After 70mph the efficiency tanks.

I had a 21 80th Anniversary (overland) that got low 30’s on the highway around 70mph and 27ish in the city. I put a Mopar lift 37” KO2s and it came down I about 22-24mpg

my current 23 rubicon diesel only sees about 24mpg at best. Purely stock. Disappointing. I am not sure what changed (maybe rubicon bumpers and factory 33” mud terrains are that detrimental???). I am hoping a stage 1 tune helps me out, perhaps I’ll just go stage 2. I can always swap ECU and put the exhaust back together is something goes catastrophically wrong

Highways around here are all 100kmh (62mph) and I'm usually sitting at around 105 (65mph). It's about all the Jeep likes to do with being on 37s before the tires like to give me a bit of a shimmy, and honestly, I'm not in a rush. I take it easy, cruise control whenever I can... I let off the gas going down hills, all that jazz.

I'm doing a Stage 1 here shortly on the Gladiator mainly because I want to disable that stupid EGR system. I have a full delete on my RAM EcoDiesel and it opened it completely up... fuel economy, power, etc all went through the roof. The moment this Gladiator is out of warranty, I'll be fully deleting. The only reason I'm not doing a full delete now is that when I do a Stage 2, I'm completely removing all the emissions including the EGR cooler. That's a bit too much work to reinstall whenever I need to go to the dealership.

Everyday driving the computer shows 24mpg.
Took a 3500 mile trip last summer, mostly interstate (70-80mph), and hand calculated just a hair over 28mpg.
All stock Sport S with a Bak X4 bed cover.

I made a trip from Denver to Colorado Springs yesterday in my 23 Willy's. I ran about 80 most of the way there and back and was sitting at 25.4 when done. I only have about 500 miles on it so far. Not too bad considering starting at 5280 feet in elevation, going above 7000 down to 6000 feet and back. Can't wait to see what mileage this can get in flatland driving.

Just pulled my boat home, 432 miles. Hand calculated 12.7 and on the cluster it said 12.6. So pretty close. On the way to get the boat, against the wind it was hand calculated at 15.9 which I thought was pretty bad. Over the lifetime of 11,000 miles, it’s been 20.7. Thought it would be much better.
Sorry. Edited to add averaged 73.3mph over the 432 mile trip.
Edited to add again! In 11,000 miles, I’ve also gone through 7 jugs of DEF fluid. Which would coincide with the mileage I’m getting. I’ve towed twice. Once a little 6x10 enclosed trailer, and then my boat. Bit excessive on the fluid as well?

I just got done bringing my wife's small aluminum cattle trailer home to Wyoming from Arizona. about 1100 mile trip. The trailer is 2750 lbs in weight but extra tall. I had some stuff in it and in my jeep. probably pulling 3800 lbs. many mountains and grades to go up and down all the way from AZ thru UT and Wy.. I only was going 64 to 68 MPH. I accidently hit 72 once. I was getting around 13.1 mpg until I hit Casper. I turned north at Casper and drove straight into a windy day up to Sheridan. I was home at 11.9 mpg for the whole trip. small fuel tank equals many stops. The jeep handled and pulled to trailer well. I could have speed a lot more but fuel mileage would have suffered. My jeep has a Banks Derringer and a peddle monster in it. I turned the peddle monster off and kept Derringer at #3

I've had mine approx. 3 years now and I avg. 24 in town and 28-30 on the road at 75 mph. I am running Rubicon Wildpeak take offs (285-70-17) and 373 gears.

I have a completely stock ‘23 JTRD. Had it about a year and a half average 24.5mpg consistently with a pretty even split hwy/city. Where I live is AL it is actually fairly hilly (definitely not mountainous). Hwy is 70mph here and I usually am right around or just over, Jeeps are not meant for even those speeds IMO. Towing a small U-Haul 6x12 average 16.5mpg over 2000miles AL-VA-NC-AL so mostly flat. Weird is I used to see 26-28mpg on the hwy but ever since the fuel pump recall it is now consistently in the 24mpg range. Overall very happy for driving vehicle with the drag efficiency of barn door.

16-17 mostly in town with a little highway for fishing. I drive fairly spirited in my 6 speed. It can get 21-22 on flat ground but otherwise it about 20 on the highway up to 70mph.
