Made some plates to replace the bumper reflectors and mount some small led utility lights. Made a cardboard template, cut plates from .125 aluminum with a jig saw, painted the back black, covered the part that would show through the bumper with reflective safety tape. Mounted the small utility lights over the tape. Pleased. with the look, will wire them to one of the aux switches and post pictures of the light output.

Couldn't you have done the same thing but used the stock reflectors?
Considered it but the stock reflectors are multi layered, red lens with the reflector quarter inch or so behind it. Not sure I could drill them without them breaking apart.

Yeah, what he said - and if yours ever get dull, damaged, whatever, you can easily refresh 'em.

That's awesome. Thought about doing this with the stockers and some kc cyclones. Hoping I can get 3 of them on there. White, red and amber.

Ok so can't they just be hooked directly to the backup circuit off the taillights? So everytime you go in reverse they come on?

You could wire them that way I just used an aux switch, I wanted them more for loading the truck or hitching to my boat in the dark

That's what I did with my KC Backup lights. I used a Curt harness so that I could tie into the reverse line off the Tow connector without damaging any of the factory wiring.

You can also diode isolate the backup lights and one AUX switch so the lights will work as reverse lights and be switchable with an AUX switch. I used a pair of low voltage drop Schottky diodes with my commercially made Oracle flush mount bumper lights

Do you have some sort of wiring diagram for this?

Can your send me the link or ratings for your diode? I'm planning on adding the lower lights and would like to also manually trigger them and two cubes on my bedrack.
