This is why I ended up going angled down from Rock Hard. I'm almost certain I'm going JKS 3.5 and 37's and the performance rock rail just didn't give enough drop for the boss of the house to get in. Love the look of them though.I love my Performance rock rails but now with 37’s my short wife struggles a bit to get in i may have to go to rockslide engineering
I had Rockhard paitriot angled down on my JK they were heavy duty but did drag on stuff. This is why I ended up going angled down from Rock Hard. just installed performance rock rails and I love them. Wife and oldest have no trouble but it’s still a stretch with 5 year old. Also I’m still stock rubicon. They are for cosmetic purposes only. They bolt to the body, and are not strong enough to use as an actual rock rail.Has anyone tried these
Rugged Ridge 11504.38 RRC Rocker Guards for 2020 Jeep Gladiator JT
They say they bolt to the frame, but the mounts look a little weak to me. looking for something that doesn't break the bank, but will be atleast some body protection. Not planning on doing any serious rock crawling, but you never know.
thats what it looked like to me also. ThanksThey are for cosmetic purposes only. They bolt to the body, and are not strong enough to use as an actual rock rail.
