I was thinking the same thing, I have some thin weatherstrip I can fold into a V shape like a rain gutter and stick it in there.Has anyone fitted in extra rubber or sealant to tuck in behind the top part of the glass ? Would that help as a "quick" fix to prevent water intrusion
I just noticed mine leaking the other day when I washed it, granted I was pointing the hose right at the gap rinsing off soap. I park in the garage and just put the hardtop back on a couple weeks ago (soft top was on all summer/fall) and never noticed a leak before but I do remember cleaning the inside of the back window and it some streaks.
I was at the Jeep dealer the other day and was looking at a new JT rubicon and it was raining, you could see the water dripping down the inside of the window. I think I will wait a while and maybe they will come up with a real fix if enough people complain, doesnt look like its easy to replace that glass.
