I added 35s and a bed rack.

This may be the first time in history a Jeep owner DOWNSIZES! 😂
I’m going the opposite direction. Currently on Rubicon take off rims/tires and have a tonneau cover with Billie bars rack. Once i sell my soft top, going to take off the tonneau and Billie bars and put a shell on it.

I have a shell now. I do enjoy it more for my needs. But I may just trade in because I enjoy the 2 doors. Just not sure if I am able to downsize that much even though the bed runs empty all the time. lol

I've seen quite a few Class A's towing JT's in AL. not having any problems. Staying out of the hammer lane.

My Gladiator, '21 Wyllis with full fuel, and the hard bed cover came in at 4,880. Very close to max hitch numbers, and closer with GCWR. But my then 20500 GVWR V10 Ford MH pulled it like a champ.

The OP stated he's looking at a Super C. That's based on a much larger chassis then just a C class motor home.
I've got a Class A diesel pusher that I tow my 21 Diesel Overland Gladiator 5,100# many times I need to look at the camera to make sure it's still behind us.

We recently moved from California to Tennessee - towed my JT behind the motorhome (2007 Bounder on a Workhorse chassis: 8.1L V8 with Allison 6 speed transmission) the entire way. Averaged 8 mpg over the 2400 mile trip. The wife drove her JLU behind me and she averaged 35 mpg with her 3.6L engine - not bad for a large brick towing a small brick, and her driving a small brick!

Yep, Super C's are based on large commercial truck chassis. Most have 10,000 lbs towing capacity. Some have a 20,000 lbs towing capacity.

My class A diesel pusher had a 5.9 Cummins. With a 10,000 lbs towing capacity. We towed a '13 Grand Cherokee behind. Never knew the GC was back there. It got 8 mpg with or without the GC. Been over Wolf Pass, Vale Pass, and Eisenhower Pass a number of times with it.

I tow my gladiator behind my class C with a v10. I towed the Mojave too. My tow bar is rated for 10K, the RV 7500 pounds. It goes anywhere I want, but when I get in the mountains, I do slow down. On some passes, 25 mph is the best I can do. In the flatlands, I get 7mpg towing the gladiator, in the mountains, or in the wind, it will go down to 6mpg. I have towed YJs, TJs, XJs, JKs, and now JTs all over the place. It’s heavy, but it works great:). A super C would be even better.
