Good luck here in ATX. I was just at my dealership on Monday for warranty work and their lot only had 1 JT on it and it was a Willys. Looking online they show they have 5 Mojaves, but I doubt they're actually there at the moment and are just allotted to them and on the way. Additionally all show to be fully spec'd out and have an MSRP of $65k for consideration.

I don't think I've seen it discussed, but from when I was searching for my JT this summer that's one of the things I discovered pretty quickly around here is that all of the Rubis and Mojaves (if they had any) were for the most part fully loaded. There's a lot of disposable income here and it seems people interested in the Rubicon or Mojave are just interested in buying the highest trim for the highest dollar so their neighbors can be impressed. Depending on what features you want to go with it, it may be difficult to find a Rubi or a Mojave sitting on a lot that's not fully loaded for that reason. Unless of course you're interested in a fully loaded one.
Yeah, it's similar down here in San Antonio. The two Rubicons I drove were fully loaded. One gasser, one diesel

Ordering, or on the lot? If its on the lot 1% is a good deal. In demand cars are moving quick when in stock and there is no incentive for them to give you a better deal, honestly even msrp on jeeps is a good deal right now if its an on the lot as they'll sell. Ordering you can do much better since you're going to wait and the dealer will have minimal money tied up in it. In that case consider a trip to gupton is going to be 1 -2K worth of time and money so deal accordingly.
That's kind of what I was thinking. There's a Rubicon and a Mojave in transit to the dealer closest to my house that are spec'd close to what I want, and they said they'd do 1% under invoice. Though that sounded reasonable ?

We recently bought a 4xe for the wife and they wouldnt budge off msrp at all unless we wanted to order. On the lot time for a 4xe within 500 miles of us is less than 2 days, so 1% under i'd say you are doing well given rubis and mojave's are in a similar boat.

Depending on what your budget is, the mojave is typically more expensive than a comparable rubicon, if you want the best of both worlds go rubicon and then add the fox 2.5 dsc adjustable, or the king 2.5 adjustable. Then you get the rubicon extras with a ride arguably better than a mojave.

Can also come at it the other way, mojave add a front locker and quick disconnect sway bar, then you can keep the shocks and get something similar to the rubicon goodies.
This is exactly why we chose the 2022 Mojave. We preferred the interior and are/will be adding front locker, sway disconnect. 37's with a small lift and 4.88's the following summer. We drive 80% road 20% off road. In Maryland so we have all types of terrain/trails to choose from. Not that it really matters but with my wife having Multiple Sclerosis, Orange kinda seemed fitting. For longer trips (all the national parks) we wanted a smoother ride.

Call and ask for Cory Williams, he helped us out and was great. Let him know I sent ya.
Is that at Covert or South Point? Also, do they work any deals under invoice price? Thanks again for the info!

That's probably already under invoice. Should be somewhere around 2-3% under assuming they don't tack on a bunch of dealer fees

Southpoint.

Other than current incentives or their advertised dealer discount as shown I wouldn't expect much more. I bought mine the same way. I was looking at Rubis and Mojaves, but found my Overland advertised at 10% off/$5k under MSRP of $54K and couldn't find a better price locally. I tried haggling and they wouldn't budge, but they also gave me the best price I was quoted on my trade in too. Since it worked out to $14k under the exact same Rubi on the lot sitting next to it it was a no brainer for me. I got everything I wanted, but minus the Rubi cosmetics, suspension, and axle/lockers. I did Rubi shocks and spring take offs and 33's shortly after. I'm happy at the moment.

That's fantastic. I'll reach out and see what they can do, thanks again!

Can't add a winch ready bumper to a Mojave. The Mojave wheels are unique to the Mojave.
You can make the Mojave skid work with some winch ready bumpers and even the Mopar steel bumper (Going to prob take some trimming though) Or you can just take off the Mojave skid and use a Rubicon skid.

That's what I did, I didn't like the Mojave skid anyways and the Rubicon skid plate and Mopar stubby fit great and still protect my reservoirs.

The Fishbone FB22178 winch ready front stubby bumper fit fine on my Mojave with no modifications to the skid plate and it accepts the fog lights as well. I'm heading out to Harbor Freight to get one of those Badland 1200lb winches this weekend.

Did you paint the D-rings or have them do it? Looks fantastic
