21’ JTRD, at the end of my trip, 2.5 hrs N and back going 75 on the Northway ,dash showed 18.5 mpg. Certainly tows better than my 2 door JK, I’d be lucky to see 12 mpg similar trip.

And what a fine looking pair there, too.

Took my aluminum boat in Salem sound today, caught a bunch of striped bass

First tow after lift for a little crappie fishing. Went with an 8” drop hitch, probably could’ve went 10”. Made loading very bad as bunks are too steep. Also if there were any questions about re-gearing, this just answered it. Have to do it.

I tow this enclosed 5 x 10 cargo trailer around the state to gun shows. 6" drop is perfect.

Front pole holders are R100 spyderlok and the sides are R300 transport rack. Both by millennium marine.

First tow with this rig, a 2000 Coleman Sea Pine. A 3” drop was perfect for a level ride and used the Curt Echo Bluetooth controller which worked perfectly.

Other than home from the dealer, just finished maiden voyage with our new Grand Design Imagine XLS 21 BHE.

Empty water tanks, 4946 UVW. Good setup on E4 Equalizer Hitch, Curt Echo Wireless brake controller, Furrion S7 Wireless cameras..

Actually pretty impressed. Obviously 4.10's on 37s makes it tough, but for local trips - no immediate need to re-gear. May go bigger on tires when these wear out, so 5.13s will probably happen in a couple years. Otherwise, if going into more difficult terrain, will consider gears then. May add bags - not for squat - but for bounce control over rough TN roads.

(Also, peep the duck I got at the campsite!)

Running a similar setup,GD 17 MKE on 37's with 3.5" lift, but we love it. I did regear to 5.13's after 6 months of towing on 4.10's. 4.10's were almost ok, but decided I needed more in the mountains of PA and VA
