I find it a bit disturbing that it’s only $100 up-charge for the premium, yet they charge over $500 to get the premium top when you buy the vehicle! It's both. Premium is tinted, standard is not.

https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/anyone-tried-the-mopar-sun-bonnet-82215620.17895/has any one installed the mopar 822215620 Sun Bonnet yet? if so what are you opinions or any pictures to share would be appreciated. I installed similar bonnet on my wife’s JL and its ok except the last two button downs on the back side of the rollbar would never reach and I had to use velcro tape instead... just wondering if similar issues with the JT version... and I am not yet sure how those buttons actually hold up over time
I talked with the Bestop folks at the Bantam Jeep fest in June and from what I was told that because of the shape of the Gladiator the only soft top that will be available is the factory style. This may have changed since then, but I'm only passing on the info I got.Brutal cost
Ill wait for Bestop to release something. Hopefully one that folds all the way back instead of giving the cab a mullet.
I owned a JKU and individual top parts were available from Quadratec.Does anyone know if the mechanism is the same between the base soft top and the premium one? Does Jeep or Bestop normally offer just the cloth parts separately from the mechanismj (e.g. in case someone rips their top fabric)? Sorry if that's a dumb question, but I'm new to the Jeep world. I'm leaning toward a Sport and prefer the premium top, but it doesn't look like you can option that on a Sport via the build and price tool.[/QUI owned a JKU
Even worse, it could be considered a man bun. Ugh. Sorry, soft-toppers!Brutal cost

Like one that folds all the way down? Probably a while (like a year?) before we see something like that. I'm sure Bestop is busy cranking out the OEM ones for a while.any word on timing from a bestop alternative?
