Southeast Overland Camping Event

I booked a camping spot for my son and I to attend this event at the end of the month. Anyone else been to this event or planning on attending? We may go hit some of Windrock will in town(typically do when we are close). Also if youre going what are you going to be camping with? Hoping to meet some more great people from this forum!

I’m going to do my best to be there. I was going to set up as a vendor, but then decided I would just come and camp so I can walk around and talk with other vendors and people that will be at the show.

I’m local to the area and will be attending either Friday or Saturday. I just had shoulder surgery so I won’t be camping.

if I were camping I’d be in my Tent Freak trailer. I bought the demo unit from a vendor at this event 2 years ago.

if you need any recommendations on the area or want to grab a beer one evening let me know.

I went and picked mine up lol. So i have no experience with the delivery aspect. But the trailer makes an amazing camping rig!

We had a blast at SOC this past weekend. We will definitely be back!!! I've never seen so many RTTs deployed at the same time in the same place. It got a little chilly at night(down to 32° Fri) but the inaugural run of the Diesel heater was fantastic. Hell it was too hot on the lowest setting and I had to half open the windows to vent. We didn't get to wheel as I didn't want to venture down trails without someone(firm believer of not wheeling alone) so many next time. We are gonna be back at WR for wheeling in 2 weeks anyways.
