My money says they will get crushed. None of them having been titled first would create a administrative mess sending them to salvage auction.I wonder how Jeep will handle these vehicles...

@Hootbro You could be right. Easier to file an insurance claim and let them go. Shame to lose all those "parts" cars though. My money says they will get crushed. None of them having been titled first would create a administrative mess sending them to salvage auction.
The Carrier just bought a bunch of jeep partsMy money says they will get crushed. None of them having been titled first would create a administrative mess sending them to salvage auction.
I really do not see how they could get around not crushing them. All these vehicles for paper have a "MSO" or Manufacturing Statement of Origin which for all intents is the birth certificate that has to be presented in whatever state a vehicle is first titled. That MSO certifies where it was made and and compliance to the various safety and emission standards. I do not think you can go from a straight MSO to a salvage title or would they want to pay that cost or assume the liability.@Hootbro You could be right. Seriously a shame for folks who were waiting for those LEs. Sad.
I dont think so... thats the same long white label I have hanging from my roll up tonneau cover.Think that is the soft top, not tonneau cover....
@spenchey , was my jeep on that train?
LMFAO! you're funny!Shouldn't the tonneau cover remain 'locked' and closed if the tailgate hasn't been opened? Too early?
the train driver was hurt, severely beaten by JT buyers waiting for their beauties!Well, that sucks. I hope no one was hurt.

I could be wrong but this situation is a little more unique than most.
Was kind of thinking the same thing with my Granite LE, which after 98 days still hasn't moved out of C status. Pretty sure mine wasn't on there. Now I do not feel so bad about being in JB status for the passed 33 days.
