Looking to upgrade my factory Steering Stabilizer. I recently went to a 35” tire on my JTR and would like something a little better to soak up some road feedback as the tires a pretty heavy and have a high load rating. Is the shaft through stabilizer really that great? And with the $120 price difference? I am looking at the Fox brand but open to suggestions. I would also like to relocate it to the top vs down low we’re it can get smashed!

Hence why I’m asking! Already searched and didn’t find my answer. If you have knowledge or can point me in the right direction much appreciated!

You need to switch to a jk version if you want it higher. A thru shaft is a nice design and will help be smoother… the only way to get “bump steer” really fixed is to upgrade your tie Rod and drag link. IMO

I have the Falcon Nexus EF 2.1 and its great. Drives nicely. Its a few bucks less than than the 2.2 adjustable but many jeepers greater than I had feelings the adjustable wasn't necessary and the 2.1 is set to what you'd run 99% of the time anyway. Easy install.

Anyone run the Bilstein 5100? Seems like just a direct bolt on OEM replacement. Under $100 however. I’ve always liked the Bilstein stuff, doesn’t fetch the big name (fox/falcon) price tag.

I think their motto is “We may be cheap, but at least we aren’t Rough Country.”

I have the 5100. It’s better than stock, steering is tighter. Aev uses the 5100 for its steering stablizer also.

Good to know. Mine handles great now lifted on 35s. I’ll decide if I go to 37s if it gets tossed Around enough to go Falcon or Bilstein.

I have the shocks so bonus points for matching.

I like the Bilstein stuff just wish it was aluminum instead of steel, the 5100s rust and look terrible in a couple years in the northeast.

I’m running the full 5100 setup with eibach springs. It’s a night and day difference between the stock setup amd the combo I’m running. It makes driving the truck on road so much more enjoyable and less driver fatigue from constant swaying and bobbing the rubicon suspension.

Didn’t know that, that’s good intel. All part of my plan though as in two years I can tell my wife “shop said shocks are no longer serviceable.” I can then buy whatever I’d like next worry free.

Trust the science people.

Been running the Teraflex Falcon Nexus EF 2.1 steering stabilizer for the last 2 years and have been quite happy with it. Very noticeable improvement when I went to 35's over the factory stabilizer.

Ive had the Falcon and Fox, thinking about trying the King. Anyone have experience with it? Their shocks are great, would think the stabilizer would be pretty good.
