done so and I've addressed the benefit outlines. The aux batter is there to keep voltage from dropping too low during ESS events. My statement is a battery with proper capacity would accomplish the same task and remove a point of failure.

If it was a true dual battery setup and one battery could work to back up another in the event of a failure, that'd be one thing, but that's not the case.
I mean, no, that’s not right. Otherwise they would’ve just done that. The batteries separate so the one providing voltage to the computers does not fluctuate due to starter draw. That’s only achieved via a two battery setup.

I really don’t think you’re understanding the purpose of this system or how it works. Jeep is not alone in doing it this way, and there’s a reason for that.

Wow so you mounted two full sized premium batteries, I would imagine wired up like the originals, just matching sized instead of one motorcycle sized?
Pretty much, it's not cheap but well worth it in my opinion. It also provides posts for hooking up lights, controllers, compressors, and more.

Videos instructions for installing are online. It takes a little while to get it setup.

Yes expensive but $$$ well spent. That’s a great way to feed all types of electric, accessories like lights and winch.

I took the aux battery out and connected its positive cable to the main battery terminal. Been driving it like that for about six months. Start/stop works like normal and the only issue has been a couple of alerts saying start/stop is disabled. They go away on the next restart.

I am convinced the aux battery issue is a result of both batteries getting low, but the aux battery doesn’t recharge properly afterwards once that happens. Keeping the vehicle on a trickle charger or driving it everyday is probably the best preventative measure.
Did a disconnect (youtube video) on mine (have had it that way for 6+ months) and zero issues. No indicator lights and main battery is charging just fine. Only 2 years old but I've had it for a year. Its a 23 but bought it in early 24. I also have a Tazer and had disabled the ESS upon installing it.

The Genesis system does look good. But I wonder if installing it would affect Jeeps's warranty?

Maybe not on the drivetrain portion. Any electrical maybe voided. It would really depend on your relationship with your service advisor. Just keep your parts to reinstall before a dealer visit if you suspect it may be related.
