Exactly. Or the “recycling” just being sold and dumped on the ground. Or car batteries. And appliances. Dumped. All that stuff. Me going off grid won’t do anything. Even just all of the upward mobility in India and China that now get air conditioners. That’s why the “how dare you” sticker is saddening. The context of that speech was against the powers at be, not good Jeep people like us. I guess it’s down to an alien invasion to unite everybody, like in Independence Day.
At the powers that be, imploring them to make our lives more miserable in order to achieve a specific climate agenda

She probably even hates Life cereal.

I wonder if anyone gets that reference.

I was just debating with myself on getting a locking gas cap or not. Well...it's now in my cart. Bummer.. I hope you can get the tank pulled and drained easily. That really sucks.
I debate with myself all the time. I've become a real master debater. :surprised:

This won't help with cleaning the tank out, but for the future and anyone else, you can buy a Mopar locking gas cap from Quadratec. They have video on how to set the tumblers to your ignition key, it actually isn't hard once you watch the video. I've had one on my Mojave since I bought it four years ago. I wasn't thinking sugar in the tank then, rather people trying to steal gas. I am aware some wonderful people will just puncture your tank. I'm hoping the skid plate protects against that somewhat.

Covered back on the 2nd page or so...........(as well as the fact they can't steal gas via the cap on these...... anti-siphoning)

This sucks. However, I remember from a long ago chemistry class experiment, we discovered that sugar is not soluble in gasoline. Turns out the "sugar in the gas tank" is an old urban legend. I would still make a point of dropping and flushing the tank, but that sugar is just sitting at the bottom of the tank, so no harm should have taken place. OH, but if you're diesel I think you're SOL.

11 pages back.............

Correct, but enough will sure plug a filter. And you don't want it going through a filter into a pump.

Ah, no. White gas is naptha. Put it in a device intended for kerosene and it will be an exciting experience.

When I was in high school, we used to keep the extra parts from shop class. Plugs, wires, random nuts and bolts etc.. Then late at night we would throw them under someone's car. Sometimes open the hood or whatever. Never did any damage other than opening the hood. It definitely caused concerns, but was great way to get back at someone.
Nowadays, I think that would be called 'criminal mischief'. Back then, the cops just laughed.
Did you hang out with Carol Shelby at Le Mans?
