Considering a HD Drag Link and Tie Rod. I liked the Steer Smarts but read a couple of bad reviews so I am not sure now. I love my Clayton components but they don't make them. I have a JKS Track bar that I really like as well, I had picked it up new in box on FBM and seemed about the same as the Clayton so I just left it on when I installed the Clayton lift.

Anyone have any personal experience with a brand they like? I already have a Fox 2.0 steering stabilizer and bought a Synergy HD Track bar mount but waiting to decide on the remaining steering components before I install it. As you can tell, I am not partial to a brand, just want the best quality to value I can find regardless of who makes it.

Are you trying to solve an issue or just upgrade/future proof your build?

People Work?
Stock hardware plus rancho brackets, Flacon Nexus, and Metalcloak sector shaft brace. Drives amazing.

I just installed all Rock Jock components last weekend. High steer steel knuckles, drag link, tie rod and track bar relocation mount. I already had a Core 4x4 tier 3 track bar. So far so good. No complaints and the truck is rock solid. I purposely hit as many bad spots in the interstate at 75 mph and nothing, tracked straight as an arrow and not a hint of wobble. I truly don't know if any one is better than the other but I'm happy with mine.

This is the part I am trying to correct now and what has me looking into this. My truck is amazing offroad with the current setup but on the hwy at 75-80MPH if I hit a bump you can feel the entire front end shimmy and shake for a second or two after. Seems like it is putting undue stress on the steering components because of it and something is going to fail at some point. I was hoping that just the heavy duty track bar mount would do the trick but I figured since I am already working on it might as well replace at least the drag link and tie rod.
I am sure the 37" tires are putting quite a strain on the stock steering. If hd mount, drag link and tie rod doesn't do it then I was going to attack the knuckles next. Any specific opinions on the Rock Jock components?

The Rock Jock brand is arguably some of the best stuff you can get. Although i think it's more popular with the JL/JK crowd. But everyone will think thier brand is the best. As my previous post stated, I think any of the options out there are engineered to be stronger and better built than stock. I am familiar with what you describe about what I would call a resonance when hitting a hard bump at hi speed. I don't feel that anymore but I can't say for sure which component did the trick. Probably a combination of all of them. To complete the entire upgrade you're looking at around $2500. High steer knuckle kit is about $1900 then add a track bar and ball joints. I'm very happy with my choice to use the RJ components. I guess what made my decision was the fact that the knuckles and steering components are an engineered matched set and can all be purchased as a one stop shopping kit.

Bit the bullet today and bought the Fusion 4x4 2.5 ton steering upgrade with the Fox ATS damper.

Just installed Steersmarts Front Track bar and there latest revision of the sector shaft brace. Didn't have to cut on my Mojave. I also installed the Fox ATS stabilizer at the same time. The way my jeep drives has completely changed. Cannot recommend enough.

Do you have a link to the updated sector shaft brace and which version of their track bar did you go with?

The only way to guarantee you are getting the latest revision is to buy from steersmarts directly.

I did not go with the PRO version. PRO uses polyurethane bushings. My take is you should only buy poly bushings if you only specifically want them. There are pros and cons.

Here is a code I just got in an email if you want to use it.

You can see in my signature what I did. I have installed everything myself in my garage. Just completed the Nor Cal BDR with on issues. Drives still like new. Synergy is my choice for steering and suspension.

Been a few weeks but had a Steersmarts Yeti sectorshaft/trackbar brace and a PSC bigbore gearbox installed. Mine had the aluminum gearbox. Much better response in the steering.
