Teraflex 1.5 Leveling Kit Questions

I did the full 1.5” and still have some forward rake, maybe half to 3/4 inch.
You could measure the bumper height, jack it up an inch, take a look, then go inch and half and see what you think.

Im going to try the full 1.5 and hope for the best. If my measurements are correct from pinch seams/running boards and fenders, I should still have around .25 of rake, which would be good.

Are you running any heavy equip up front?

Give me your opinions. I just ordered the TF 1.5 leveling kit, and additional .5 inch puck for the front in case I want to raise to 2". I also ordered TF 2" extension shock mounts, an RSO adjustable track bar, Rancho sway bar links for a 2" lift and JKS geometry correction brackets. In case the front ends up higher than the back, I also ordered a .75 inch spacers for the rear. My main concern is tire size on my '21 Willys with stock 32" MTs. No way I can squeeze tires this time. Wife would not approve. I'm afraid it will look silly with 32s if I add the additional pucks lifting 2" in the front and .75" in the back. I am considering doing only the 1.5 up front and drive the 32"s until it is time to buy tires and get 33". I am not planning on re-gearing, so 33" is probably the biggest I would go with my 3.73 gears. I re-geared to 4.88 my Wrangler YJ a few years back and that was expensive. I don't think I have seen many if at all, Gladiators with a 1.5 Lvl kit and 32" tires. What do you think?

The rear puck may come in handy since I ordered a bed rack which will hold several accessories, two 2.6 gallon gas tanks, recovery traction boards, ax and shovel. All that extra weight will certainly weigh down the rear marshmallow springs. Should I install the rear spacers along with the 1.5 considering the weight of the cargo rack?

Some people say, geo brackets, longer links and track bar aren't necessary but going with prior experience, I wouldn't do it any other way. I had a JKU with a TF 1.5" in the front and it drove like crap. needed two hands on the steering wheel and it felt floaty at speed even after alignment. I can't remember the readings but I believe caster was off and maybe pinion angle (not sure) you could tell the axle was slightly pushed to the rear and also not centered. Not knowing much at the time about suspension geometry, I decided to trade it for GC WK2.

This time I want to make sure it is done right from the get go.

I’m planning on upgrading shocks, steer smarts track bar and getting the fox ats stabilizer. It’s totally driveable without all of that, but I’m very picky on steering and those are the parts I had on my JL that helped tremendously. I don’t think you’ll need the additional .5 spacer in the front or .75 in the rear unless you plan on running heavy bumpers/winch. I always prefer a tiny bit of rake in the front so you aren’t squatting if you load up cargo.

I'll also add if you want to go 2"+ lift, I would opt for springs or maybe an actual full lift kit that has tuned shocks that coordinate with springs instead of a spacer lift.

I do not feel any negative difference, feels a lot better actually - I am running Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T tires (on stock wheels) in SL rating though, so not nearly as heavy as an E rated tire. Still hits 8th, feels more planted, gets up and goes.

That's good to know. I wish I had wide danas. Maybe spacers but I a am not a fan of them.

Ok thanks - makes sense. I was hoping to just be able to throw the 1.5 inch spacers on and be done for now. Just want to get rid of the rake and make it sit level.

I did it to my rubicon and had zero issues with the teraflex. Don't overthink this mod.

I have those tires on another vehicle after having the st maxx cooper on my JKU - love them. What size are you running? I would like to upgrade to those - i don't see any std load 33s though. Thanks-
