I had a 2014 6.2 SVT Raptor before my Gladiator... It was a nice truck, but wasn't really what I was hoping for. It just felt a bit under-powered and I wanted more out of it, but it was low miles and loaded so I didn't feel like messing with it, I sold it and got most of my money back after a year. I'd still like to get another, but I'd specifically get a high mileage, shorter supercab, with the 6.2 and without the Torsen front diff. Then hack it up and throw on some glass fenders and long(er) travel. And a blower.

Anyway, maybe one day. I'm not about the new ones at all, but the looks of the first gen are just classic. And the v8, of course.

Guy just pulled up in his Ford F150 Shelby Raptor Baja. Knock off all three of those spare tires and he might not get stuck.
Thoughts on this truck? See raptors all over but never a shelby baja.

Not sure how old you are but I have been off roading with Jeeps for 44 years now and I'm 61 now, starting with a 1978 CJ7, then a XJ or 2 then another 78 CJ7 with a Ford 351 V8, then a 97 Tj, then a 2006 Rubicon and now a 2021 Gladiator. My Gladiator is stock, but we still take it off road as much as we can, was at 4Fest about a month ago playing with about 100 other Jeeps.

Do you really need an education on what mall crawlers look like? With their cheap China made products, lights, cheap tires, lack of vehicle marks from tree limbs, dirt and rocks, clean wheels, clean tires etc?

I have had 3 - 2 of which I still own (dumped the silver JT). Pretty active with them. Long way from stock.
