Dude. You don’t seem to like jeeps. Maybe a rivian forum instead? If the wind blows to hard when you open the door to your rivian, it might bend backwards and cost the owner around 15k. But at least you get a car that requires the touch screen to point your hvac vents. So that’s cool?
Everyone is getting butthurt. It’s common knowledge that probably at least half of the jeeps on the road right now have a check engine light constantly. I love jeeps and have several in the driveway and owned numerous others. I’ve also owned many Toyotas in the past as a backup.

Wrong how? Do you not currently have diesel related problems?
Wrong about the Jeep not being maintained. I’ve been around the block a few times and I’m not stupid.

That’s hilarious. Half the jeeps huh? I’ve owned 7 including this one and haven’t had a cel yet. Kind of kills your made up statistic just with me. Why didn’t 3.5 of them have cels?

Your words. Not mine. Never said you were. But your statements are ridiculous.

Maybe the wrong blocks to go around?

Common knowledge - really funny

See? You’re getting butthurt. Take a breath and relax. It’s all just fun and games.

Forget counting ducks. I’m going to interview all the Jeep owners I come across to see if they have cels. I need data to confirm this important new statistic. I’m running out the door immediately to start my research! Stand by for results! News at 5!

Had two times we had Jeep with the MIL - and it was only on occasion. That was the weird hot start misfire issue easily corrected via a CCDIFF relearn command or the CANbus thing - corrected with a reset of the connectors - and that never set the MIL for long. It went right off.

From the person being combative? I’m here helping the op make an informed decision. You’re trolling. I’m not angry in the least. It’s funny. But your statements about half the jeeps having engine problems are just flat wrong. And it doesn’t help the op make an informed decision. Jeeps are not for everyone because they’re a specific type of vehicle. But that’s not because they’re unreliable. They’re quite advanced and solid. Your Toyota however…

Odd that I've not seen any. Real among forum members, maybe. But remember, you are in a hospital to see how healthy humans are. Half of them will be pretty sick, some will have cancer. That's what happens when you use the internet to judge quality - you find a magnifying glass in the deal.
