Thanks Ian. I was about to call Dealer’s service to see if they were aware of this fix. They called me this morning to tell me my Jeep was ready. I asked them if they pulled the fuse and they said yes! They got a notification and stayed after hours last night to do the update.

So they were able to recover the previously thought brick PCM with the radio fuse pull?

I’m thinking that the PCM was never bricked, but the shop had too many hours in it, so just ordered a new one. That was until they got the service notice. They also knew that I brought the Jeep in for Wave service before taking it cross country next week.

I had shared this with my dealer yesterday and they followed this today and just called me and I am picking up my truck tomorrow! I provided it to them before they saw it.

Wow...shame on me for looking for insight. I think the responses on this forum are far worse than any I have seen on a Gladiator Facebook page. You are correct I haven't seen the 5,000 that went right. Mine didn't and I was looking for resources away from FB that I thought could help.

Instead I got shamed for expressing frustration and looking for advice. You provided some good insight but telling me I'm basically an idiot wasn't necessary.

Well sharing my PCM plight on this Gladiator Forum paid off. The bulletin someone shared yesterday I provided to my dealer and they followed the bulletin and I am picking up the Gladiator tomorrow. Thanks to the person that shared this...

Case Number: S2218000012
Release Date: June 2022
Symptom/Vehicle Issue: While performing the PCM reprogramming portion of Recall
Z37, the process fails at approximately 20% progress.
Discussion: If PCM reprogramming fails, please remove the radio fuse (F97 in under
hood PDC) and attempt the PCM reprogramming process again.

Good to see PCM’s are being recovered by the fuse pull. Glad everyone’s getting back on the road

I am curious if all will have a recall. If it is a supplier issue for the TB maybe not. If they believe it is a software issue, yeah probably so. Or maybe they have developed a software fix for a hardware problem. It is kind of what I have been doing for folks, but it ain't easy.

Took the Jeep in to dealer for the Z37 recall. about 30 minutes no problems. I do not notice anything different in the way it drives or how the engine runs. I had not had any problems prior to the recall though.
