I have the stock rubicon how different would the 12.50 be from the 11.50 and would I need to do anything to the JT. I currently run the 285-70-17On my way now to have a set of 37x12.5 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ATs mounted. I'm switching out from a set of 35" BFG KO2s that served me well for almost 50K miles. Both are three-peak rated, and they need to be in Upstate NY. I can definitely recommend the KO2s, and have high hopes for the new boss.

Ok so that’s my next question when you went from the 12.5 to the 11.5 any difference? I’m currently running 285-70-17 and thinking of going 35x12.5I just switched to a set of Toyo Open Country AT3 in 35x11.5 from Nitto Trail Grapplers in 35x12.5. So far I love them. Anxious to try them out in the snow. Quiet, great road manners, and look good.
thank you I’m actually looking at the baja boss a/t and trying to decide which Mickey Thompson tire to get and what size to get. Yes I do want a good tire for the snow. I am currently running the 285-70-17. Thanks for any more help you can provide.Wider is worse on slippery surfaces. Watch the video. Well, unless you prefer fashion over function. You did ask about snow specifically…
These forums are all the same really… people will ignore the facts to simply look cool.

I ran 35x12.5 KO2s on stock Ruby rims for 47K with the 2-inch Mopar lift. No problems at all, and from what I’ve read you might be able to do that even without the extra lift. I liked the firm footprint on sand and mud.I have the stock rubicon how different would the 12.50 be from the 11.50 and would I need to do anything to the JT. I currently run the 285-70-17
I've got Yokohama Geolandar X-ATs in 35x12.50r17 and they did fantastic in the Utah snow last winter. This year I'll be up in Idaho so I'm sure they'll get more snow use as well. It’s finally that time to spend out money on new tires. What is everyone’s preference and how do they do in the snow? Give me your opinions please.
