See, I knew some did. That's why I thought it was odd when they said the MOPAR kit was not compatible. Maybe it's because mine is a Sport S.
The Mopar kit is different than factory optioned.

1. Factory uses the fuse box for the circuit connection, relays, and fusing, totally built in on the wiring harness / add-on uses a relay bank you screw to the firewall near the brake booster and the fuses are inline on the way to the battery post.

2. Factory has 2 additional inside cab wires - 1 for always on and 1 for ignition on, without using an Aux switch.

Jeep Gladiator Tow Package on EcoD 1704758152648

Add-on on a 3.6, black rectangular box to the right of the coolant exapnsion tank. Looks like diesel has something else there. Do what I think Rusty said earlier, just make a bracket and put it somewhere elese.

If it has premium audio it will also come with the bigger alternator too, just fyi. Also, trailer hitch zoom camera is overrated, I don’t think I’ve ever used it to hook up to my boat before.

Premium audio comes with a 220a, not the 240a. No idea why Jeep uses 3 alternators on these things...

That makes sense that it is integrated into the fuse box at the factory.
In my case, the parts guy told me that the kit was incompatible with the diesel because there was nowhere to mount the equipment, as you pointed out. So I purchased the kit anyway, found a place to mount the relays, and made my own bracket for the fuses. Then enable the switches using the Tazer. Works great.

Believe the heavy duty cooling is on the 3.6 only. The diesel has the larger fan to begin with. The diesel has the larger 94R battery. So the 240 amp alternator comes with that battery.
I have the tow package with the 240 amp aternator, but has the smaller 650 battery because i didn't ordered with the Aux switch.

I also just pulled the trigger on a 23 Gladiator High Altitude Eco Diesel without the tow package two weeks ago. I did research and the only difference I could find was the missing 2x2 receiver and trailer camera zoom. Max tow ratings are the exact same with or without the tow package on the JTHA Diesel. 6500lbs assuming you have the actual class IV hitch. I bought the Mopar hitch and switched it out last weekend. 1.5 hour job by myself and easiest hitch install ever. Wiring is already there.

Strange thing is the factory "non-tow" package hitch that came on it (and you have to remove to install the Mopar class IV hitch) is the exact same one as I added minus the 2x2 receiver portion hanging down. Seems stupid for Jeep to do that and not just add the same 2x2 hitch to all JT's, but I paid $289 for the hitch and installed myself for free. SO technically I guess I saved ~$800 over getting one with the "tow package." Super easy job and it is a factory part.

I have the tow package and mine did not come with the AUX switches but I did install them. I do know that the MOPAR kit states it's not compatible with the diesel. That's because there is nowhere to mount the factory relay bracket. I made a custom mount for mine. Enable it with the Tazer and good to go.
Mopar sells the bracket for Diesels to mount it.

’21 EcoD High Altitude with tow package and no aux switches. I’ve got the 240 amp alternator but the smaller battery. There’s just a spacer there as the battery tray is the same. when I need to replace the battery I’ll be “upgrading” to the bigger battery just because.

Pulled a big enclosed trailer with not a ton of weight to Michigan and back (moving my son into an apartment) and I’ve also pulled a flatbed with some big military generators on it. The diesel has been a solid tow rig for the little I’ve done with it.

I have a 2023 Rubicon EcoDiesel. It came factory with the tow package and auxiliary switches. Out of curiosity, what you are guys running off your auxiliary switches?

I used the two 15A circuits as disconnects, triggering contactors to suppliers powers to my winch and bed. One of the 40A for swaybar disconnect. Saved the last 40A for future lights.

1 high amp on a pillar pods, 1 unused. 1 low amp running high mode on my rock lights. The other low amp runs my blue lights. It's nice they can be configured with or without ignition on.
