A couple of weeks ago my Gladiator with only 14k miles stopped moving, shifter lights flashing and on the main display, check engine light on. Would not go into reverse - neutral or drive. Got it towed to the dealer, when they got time to diagnose the issue they found burnt oil and pieces of metal, so a new transmission is on order with no eta.
no warning signs / noises etc before this happened, and never did any towing.

@JeepCares will need your help on this
You will need to send a private message requesting their assistance. They will need the VIN and dealer info.

Similar thing just happened to my 2022 Gladiator Mojave with 15,000 miles( never off-road and fully stock except for air intake filter swap. Last week I was driving down the freeway when, without warning, the truck starts shaking and the engine completely shuts off. Dash starts flashing " Press Brake & Push Start button to start". The truck was still moving at this point but hard to control as i lost power steering and braking assistance. Luckily i was able to make it to the shoulder safely. Tried all the usual trouble shooting like Jumping it, pulling fuse and disconnecting battery to reset system but it wouldnt start and kept showing the message that i had to "press brake to start". Initially the transmission seamed stuck and i couldn't get it out of drive but it finally shifted to park. Had to have it towed via flatbed to dealership exactly one week ago. They finally looked at it yesterday and said the engine is completely seized and they suspect it experience a catastrophic engine failure/malfunction. They pulled an oil sample and said it was filled with metal flake and shrapnel. They're telling me i need a full engine replacement with no timetable as to when they will have the engine in stock. They have yet to figure out why it happened or what failed or caused it. Super bummed as i really loved the mojave up until now.

I'm wondering why you said it was a similar thing? He had transmission issues unrelated to engine, and you have engine issues unrelated to transmission. One is transmission failure, yours is engine related failure.

Both Gladiators had similar mileage, dash lights flashing, lots of confusion and had to be towed and dealerships don’t know why. Lots of similarities.

My bad, I said that because as I read op's post I could relate to what he experienced with it being stuck in gear and unable to shift. Thankfully he didn't experience the engine locking up also. They haven't had a chance to inspect the other components on mine yet so I don't know the condition of my transmission but after finally getting it into park they haven't been able to get it into any other gear. Still waiting for a better explanation of what happened and why. All they told me so far is everything is seized up and I'm going to need a new engine.

That's about it, though. You can have an ABS issue and have lots of dash lights flashing (as we've seen in the 2020 models with the trailer brake controller)
You could say a lot of failures were similar in that way - dash lights flashing. Even with the diesel.
That's what makes them similar? If that's the case, half the failures posted about are all similar.
Guess when I think of similar - I think of "my transmission failed, too".
