As I research, I can't figure out if I want a Sport S or Overland trim add a few factory options. I am going with a 3.0 Diesel (this isn't my first diesel) and I won't be able to get the Wide Track axles/Max Tow package unless I go Rubicon trim.

I'll be adding the following options/packages to have:
- Cold Weather package
- Auto Climate Control
- LED headlights
- 8.4" Radio and Alpine system
- Trailer Tow package
- 3pc Freedom Top
- Adaptive Cruise Control

When I build out the two trims, I have the Sport S at $49,895 and the Overland at $53,630. So whats the $4k (or $50/m) difference between the Sport S and Overland? Is it the Leather trimmed seats, Wheels & tires, and body-colored front bumper. Or am I missing something?

How are the seats? Are they the same base/foam/structure with different coverings?

Note: The same equipped Rubicon was $59,255 (or $90-150 more a month payment); out of my budget and more "off-road" than I need.

There's also a few tiny "bonus" above a Sport
Floor Ambient Lights, leather on doors, handles, and dash, Passive Entry available and Color matched top available as examples

The color matched freedom top was an additional $1200. The Black Freedom top is included in the Popular Equipment group.

Yeah guess those aren't great examples if you're not picking them as options. The top and passive entry are just not available at all on Sport

Try an 80th Anniversary build, it might split the difference between Sport S and Overland.

The Overland has the AC outlet in the center console, leather trim dash top panel, leather door armrests (longer than sport), ambient lighting, leather trim on shifter(s), bright trim accents, wheels, and several other differences. The instrument cluster may have a different startup screen, not sure and unable to verify.

For the Advanced Safety Package with adaptive cruise control, the Overland would have auto-dim high beam headlamp control where the Sport or other special editions which are based on the sport would not have this function.

Adaptive cruise, auto high beams are options on the Sport S. And my Sport S has the AC outlet in the center console.

They show as part of the package on Jeep's configurator website but are not showing on the sticker as part of the package and is not an available option within the radio, etc. I am fighting this right now as we ordered the 80th with the package and that option was not enabled at the factory at time of build. I know of at least one other person that has the same issue.

I had thought the outlet was part of the stereo upgrade package. Not Overland.
Are you saying you ordered that package on a sport and it did not include the power outlet?

The Overland gets the AC outlet with the 7", on the Sport we have to upgrade to the 8.4" for the outlet.

Ordered an 80th which is based on the Sport which includes the 8.4 premium audio package and it does not have the outlet.
