true, but i want a bunch of overland/rubicon only stuff. And i want that rubicon sticker so people bow in respect to my spending abilities.
Swaybar disconnects lol? If I did get gator the red outline on the Rubicon sticker up against a greenish brown would have looked horrid anyway. I more than likely would have yanked it off.

Everybody needs to think about this...all the future rubi owners. If your going to build your Rubicon up your going to be losing some very expensive stuff that you will be essentially tossing away. This is my pitch for the sport S. Those fancy fox shocks will be gone for anybody going with 37s. The 33” tires...will be gone to even if you go up to 35s obviously. On the sport S it is now an option to get dana 44 front and rear...also 4.10 gearing...in a sport model. This is insane how well built you can get a sport S for. The only option you need is the max tow. I was hooked on the Rubicon, but when you can get a very capable sport s for 10k less it’s kind of a no brainer. That 10k can go towards an AEV upfit, or lift wheel/tire combo on your own.
But you lose out on the 4:1 transfer case. I priced out the sport s, but after doing all the stuff to make it look like a rubicon, I'm 3k away from a rubicon anyway. plus, unless you are going bigger than 37's, you won't need to do anything except a lift.

My sport S I built was 43k. The Rubicon was 50k that I built with virtually no options.

Do we know if a 37" spare will fit under the bed? I've seen that a 35" will but I'm wondering where I'm going to stash a full size spare if i go with 37s.

not that I know of, I'm wondering if you can deflate it and shove it in there. I need to find a 37x10.50 spare tire so it doesn't take up too much space/clearance.

Man these threads really wonder. LOL. Who has signed up with Travis most recently? Did he say what his totals are.

Why not just use 35 as spare and call it good enough instead of trying to find a spot for a 37?

It would get you home.

Yeah, by the time you are 2-3 pages in on a thread, discussion is so far off the original topic it’s hard to remember what we started discussing in the first place, or people start saying the same things already posted...

I swung by the local dealer on the way home to look at a JL in Granite. Sales guy immediately swooped in. Told him I was just looking at the color to see how it would look on a Gladiator. His response: "A what?"
Man, that is why most people hate stealerships..... the sales peeps are like Vultures sitting on the light pole just waiting for a victim. That and they way they try and rip you off of course.
