Anyone running this setup? What do I need in the way of mounting brackets? Got a beam preference (fog, spot, spread) for night driving and occasional camping trips and the trails? Thank you!

KC makes several different round lights. If your bar doesn't have mounting tabs, you will need tube clamp mounting brackets. KC, as well as other vendors, make these. Beam pattern is up to you. I use a flood pattern for off-road because our New England trails are very tight & twisty and we're never going very fast.

The KC 6" Slimlite LED is listed as a spot beam, but several people report that it is spread out more than a traditional spot light. This may work well for both driving and off road duty.

I have KC Apollo Spots on my cowl, and I'm thinking of going with something else to replace my Amazon light bar on my bumper hoop.

I was eyeing the Slimlite so this news about it being more spread out than a normal spot is good news...

I went with gravity pro 6 in the driving pattern, gives off good light in all directions but up and they're street legal so if you adjust them they are useable on the street with out getting flashed.

Another vote for the slimlights. up until a week ago, I had them on my bumper and they are pretty broad. I moved them to the cowl when I added my winch and they work even better up there. I haven't decided what I'm going to put on the bumper but I'm leaning toward the BD ONX6 10" with the combo beam and an amber lens for snow/fog. But I'd be just as happy with just the slimlights. In fact, I really like the Flex Era 4's but can't justify the $400 more for them when the stats on the slimlights are actually better.

I have slimlites on my A pillar brackets and Flex Era 4’s on the mopar winch guard. Mopar makes a light bracket specifically for the winch guard. They work very well!

I’m actually planning on doing the opposite. Thinking about putting the slim lights on the bumper and either FE4 or 3 on the a pillar.

Found exactly what I wanted, the discontinued LZR KCs. A guy on the Wrangler forums had these (his photo) and I was able to find a discounted pair on Amazon. Fingers crossed they're legit, but reviews seem to indicate they are.

You certainly could! FE3’s would be good on the A pillar. The slimlites are more of a spot pattern and the FE4’s I bought are a combo pattern. I thought I wanted the spots up higher, so I went that way.

I think I've finally landed on my setup, going to get a BD ONX6 10" on a fairlead mount in their combo beam and amber lens for fog/snow. Then I'm going to sell my Slimlights and replace with FE4 in Spot on the my A Pilar.

I see you have the red bezels for your FE4, are they really red? On KC's site, they look magenta.

I have KC 6" ProSport LED (driving pattern) on the bumper and 4" LZR LED (spot beam) on the A-pillars. Even though both are discontinued by KC now, they've served me well for the last 3 years.

No winch guard but I am running KC Slimltes on my front bumper. I use them instead of my Highbeams most of the time on the back roads. As stated above they are a Spot beam but they do have a little bit of spread to them. First picture is just my Oracle Headlights and second is with the KCs on. I know not the best picture but cell phone Cameras can only do soo much.
