Maybe it's psycolic... psychalo... sicolog... Maybe it's a brain thing but the first time I had happy fun time with my girlfriend (all 24 seconds of it) was in a Jeep. I was more bendy then. So, I've owned Jeeps since then.

We had cheeseburgers after so maybe the cheese thing is a factor too.
Too much information! 😂

It’s in the same class, but I don’t know why customers would ever compare it to any of the other ones there. It stands alone. Buy it or don’t. But don’t buy it because it’s a comparison between a Colorado, ranger, or ridgeline. The Honda is a truck. I just happen to hate it aesthetically.
None of the other mid size trucks can remove the doors and roof!!!!!!!!! It is a unique, fun, mid size truck that I love. And I take it off road, not just sand or gravel roads but rocks and obstacles. Most other mid size truck owners won't get off the sand or gravel. Just my opinion of course!!

I managed to put 214,000 miles on my Toyota with nothing but oil changes.

Never once sent that oil to a lab, never touched a brake pad, shock, transmission pan, never filtered my coolant...
Yeah, same here. Only I was over 320k on my Sienna. Awesome vehicle.

Ironically, the removable top and doors is just about the least thing I care about on this truck. If anything, it's a problem because it's one more thing that leaks and squeaks.

I am definitely a minority on this 😄

I would say only on this forum, but I don't even believe that's true.

I would bet 9 in 10 doors never come off.

and 99.999% never come off more than once.

Which is the surest way to find all three people in the world who never put their doors on in this thread.

All your stuff blowing out get's old after an hour or so.

My truck stays loaded up with stuff like i'm MacGyver, an Eagle Scout, and a road technician all in one - and I daily drive it. It's not a cute toy that sits in the garage for me to go ride around on pretty day. I have to use it, non stop 😄 So little room to be taking doors off lest to your point I want shit pouring out of it like a dumpster turned over.

Was once on my way to work doorless and lost a pair of shorts on the highway. Damn it!

Several hours later I was driving the same stretch of highway. Nobody behind me, I spotted my shorts, so I pulled over and grabbed them. Never expected to get those back. 😆

So she took your shorts off while you were driving and just tossed them in the back?
I can't see any other way you'd be driving along and lose your shorts.

It's almost always windy here - get a good gust coming across from the side and it'll take your breath away (not to mention empty your Jeep at the same time.
I've had stuff float up and out that I never figured would be susceptible to such a thing. The wind patterns get goofy, especially with a good cross-wind.

Yeah, like recently I had to make an emergency trip to a hospital 2 hours away - no messing with top or doors. When I need it, I need it. It can't stay parked until a nice calm day. It's a D-D.
Sunday, I had to hop in it and drive to urgent care. Oh, that would have been fun had it been stripped down and me unable to lift much of anything and my thumb locked up.

You see a lot of Jeeps stripped down in FL, and once in a while a JL or JLU here on a nice day has the doors off and the soft top back, but those "nice days" are rare.
I can't imagine how things would have been for us if I had the roof and doors off that time we drove to Ames - with a nice day in the forecast.............. boy, did they blow that one. 70 mph winds here, over 140 mph east of here.

If only this little truck with its v6 could do truck stuff.

1800 pounds of pavers 20 miles out a washboarded and muddy road no problem. Yes it's over the rated payload. No i don't worry about it even a little. The metalcloak 3.5" springs did a good job of keeping it out of the bumpstops even though it had some serious squat.
