Haven’t read entire thread, but I will go back. Not sure if anyone mentioned bringing back magnum v8’s with Dakota coming back. The hemi was never going to be as ubiquitous as GM LS motors. Also, more optional gear sets from the factory on every trim level would be appreciated.

How about no more bubbling paint everywhere? I can't believe that is still an issue we have to deal with consisting how much we pay for these things!
I agreed with this statement. No more because it's aluminum excuses. Non of my Lexus with aluminum panels does it, not even my 2002 SC430.

Too many unique options that are dreams.

fix the rain gutters over the doors so they don't act like showers when you open the doors
Added in 21, or 22.

the plug in the bed sucks. Absolutely useless For anything other than a phone charger.
Battery charger, coffee pot.

Won't buy again just because of new features, only if something happens to current one but if that happened today I would love to see:
  • adjusted license plate lights, or off in reverse
How and why?

If I use this it still seems to turn the lights off in a minute. Is there another trick to get them to last?
Tazer, 30 minutes.

Would love the option of the 5.7 Hemi or new Hurricane I-6.

Less nannyism; ie: tilt and incline display that shuts off over 20mph, ability to engage rear locker in anything other than 4 Low, and auto park!

Ability to store Freedom top panels other than bungee strapping them into the bed.

Get rid of the obnoxious horn chirps for auto start, closing doors while running, etc.

Added seat adjustment, like being able to change the angle of the bottom cushion.

Longer bed option, a 6'-6" bed would add a lot more capability and versatility.

Tazer, 30 minutes.
Cause they’re bright.
And I know a tazer will do it. This thread specifically asked what we wanted from Jeep. But thanks

Hello Jeep fans!

We are looking for feedback on what features/options/colors/additions/etc. you would like to see in your Jeeps.
Please leave a comment below on anything you'd like to share. Keep in mind, this might not appear anytime soon but we want to know what our owners are looking for to make the ownership experience more enjoyable.

Thank you!

Jeep Cares
I would like to see the products and features you put in the current vehicles work. Basics- like, I would like to press the off road pages and not have to wait 5 minutes, for it to load. I would like the remote start to take into effect the ambient temp. Vs the temp from the night before.
Why does the off road pages take 5 minutes to even appear as selectable when you turn on??
Why are 35’s not stock on rubicons?? Now that the 3.0 has been canned- can the 2.8 Cummins be brought into the picture??? Leave “hybrids” to cars- not a vehicle I’m supposed to be able to perform stream crossings with….
I would like for Jeep to remember that these are “Jeeps” and not range rovers with bigger tires- confine the options to functional things, not just luxury nuances….
Figure out what is going on with the dual battery system…
HEATED LED HEADLIGHTS!!!!!

I'd like to hit 300+ HP and 325+ torque. I don't care how that happens. I'd also like Select Trac full time 4WD for manuals, and an extended cab vs crew cab option.

Since we're grasping at straws, I'll add the ability to fly, paint that doesn't scratch and 30mpg from the gas engine.

Rear glass that seals.
Mine does.

Throw my 2 cents in.
What everyone else has said so far.
Keep the diesel with a better fuel pump. The diesel should come with the Extreme package. 4.30 gears. 2 inch inch lift, 35" tires. Full floating rear axle. Make it a Dana 60. 8.5" wide rims. Make all the axles the same width from trim to trim. Factory Warn 12,000 winch. Ram does it with the Power Wagon. Why not you.

I love my JTRD. I'm trying to turn my JT into a small Power Wagon. Only 3" difference in wheel base with a Gen3 PW

A lot of this has been covered but will second/seventeenth some of them:
  • ESS memory from last setting
  • wireless CarPlay. for some reason the switch to the usb-c connection means the iPhone isn't remembered. it either takes too long to find it or we have to plug and unplug multiple times at both ends to get it to remember after stopping for gas or whatever.
  • washer on the rear camera. not just for snow...dust etc gets on that thing, and coupled with the license plate lights makes the camera near impossible to use at night.
  • maybe wire the license plate lights to turn off in reverse from the factory
  • guidance for and a plan for those of us with mojave re: the fox shocks. when I was in for my last of the free oil changes, my service advisor had no idea what I was talking about when I asked him about rebuild options. But being without the vehicle for days/weeks while shocks are rebuilt is not a great option. Some sort of fair trade in for new ones/factory-certified refurbished would be great
  • someone made a comment about factory air compressor with more utility than winch... +1 to that
  • power rear sliding window. I look longingly at it wishing I could open it from the driver's seat. probably opened it once in the 2 years we've had it
  • switch in the bed for the bed light (and that it could be configured to stay on longer)
  • love the color options - keep the variety coming
  • love the mojave concept - the ride/factory stance is great
  • don't have any hurricane experience/history but that sounds like it could be a good engine option
  • is there a different solution for the door nets? my JK nets lost stretch about 8 years in. that's respectable life, but I was stuck with poor options to replace them and ended up just cutting them out...only 20k on the JT and 2 years in...will see how it lasts
  • some sort of steel step/rock slider factory option. not the $1000 power option that looks like it will get crushed, but just something sturdy that one can also use as a step (not a bar that the wives in their nice shoes can't use effectively)
  • 4xe option (but not pure electric)
  • onboard storage plan for freedom panels
we do love our JT. as a product manager myself appreciate the outreach and opportunity for input

I didn’t think my asks for bringing back magnum v8’s with Dakota cross platform and more gear options would be out of the realm of possibility, ?

First off, thanks @JeepCares for putting this out there asking for the suggestions.

My realistic asks would be:
1. A power rear window
2. Power seats standard. Ventilated optional seats.
3. An engine option- 4, 6 or 8
4. Mojito!
5. More competitive/packaging pricing
6. Make the aux battery more accessible

My criticisms would be:
1. Stop charging so much for what we get as customers. Yes, we have a choice to buy your product, but make it more affordable. The multiple price increases throughout last year was excessive. And, that’s someone who bought a loaded Mojave.
2. Stop charging for paint. $500-$900 is crazy. And, make more paint options available. Pretty much the last 4 years have all been the same color options.

My unrealistic asks would be:
1. Electric Lime Green with a power top, 6.4 on 40’s

Given the top sticker price, should you maybe have posted this question on a G-Wagon forum instead of here? I'm not sure we're your target market any longer.

Just make a solid front axle vehicle that can drive in a straight fucking line at interstate speeds without it feeling like we're trying to pilot a crab fishing boat in a storm on the Bering Sea.
