You’re probably better off getting an AMW swap. Gonna cost you $30k+ but that’s probably what Jeep would charge us as an option anyway smh.FOR THE LOVE OF GOD - LET US HAVE THE 392 OPTION!!!!!!!!!
I want to move to a Gladiator but I hate the 3.6. Honestly, I would buy a diesel if they were still available but then I run into the terrible payload rating again...You know this is a Gladiator forum and not a Wrangler one.
Agreed. Jeep Wave says it promises a rental car when bringing in the Jeep for service. I just took my JT in for it's 2nd Jeep Wave oil change last week and they wouldn't provide me a rental car like they did last time.What about rental car or loans for warranty work....been rescheduling warranty work for 3 weeks now because of a lack of rentals/loaners. Annoying AF.
@JeepCares
Not going to happen, reversing cameras are a federal requirement as of 2018.-or NO backup camera at all and instead proper, larger, two zone, non-zoom side mirrors as on every F-150 instead. Would
Sorry a loaner for an oil change is silly.Agreed. Jeep Wave says it promises a rental car when bringing in the Jeep for service. I just took my JT in for it's 2nd Jeep Wave oil change last week and they wouldn't provide me a rental car like they did last time.
My dealer is right next to an Enterprise Rent A Car and they used to provide vouchers for a rental from them, but they wouldn't even offer that. I've been going to this dealer for the past 15 years and they've never had their own rental cars - they've always given the Enterprise vouchers. instead they just lied to me and said they had no rental/courtesy cars available, without giving the option to go to Enterprise.
Ended up having to pay for an Uber to get home. Not the biggest deal in the world however I'm not getting what I paid for.
I really like my JT in general. The only issue I've had is the leaky rear axle which took 4 times to fix and my navigation system is currently showing me 100 miles away from my current location. The dealer made me schedule a separate appointment to fix the nav as they wouldn't address it during my oil change - which was kind of annoying.
I agree with everyone that Jeep is inflating their prices exorbitantly and trying to gouge us for every cent to make more profits. That only can go so far. At some point folks aren't getting enough value out of their money, and now you're seeing that demonstrated in the drop in Gladiator & Wrangler sales. At this price point I'm planning to keep my JT and fix whatever issues I have with it instead of considering a new one. That just makes better financial sense now than ever.
