I understand all that. I was just trying to point out that dual piston fronts and single piston rears were plenty on a 3/4 ton diesel.The number of pistons doesn't matter, it's the force against each. PSI, pounds per square inch of pressure against xx square inches of piston surface is the amount of force against the pad.
The CoF and material of the pad matters, too.
