Well mine is someplace in the process of the engine being replaced under warranty. My patients with reliability as I get older are getting short.

Friday I saw something I liked, test drove it, loved it and took delivery.........still under that Stellantis umbrella.........but bulletproof reliability.

Replacing one 23 with another 23. Durango Hellcat premium. Only 27,xxx miles and it's the most fun I've had with my pants on in at least a decade.

Yeah once I get it back I will be doing a demod and selling. Even though it will come back toe with a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty I'm done with it. I've come learn this years warrantys are great until you don't have your vehicle for 4 months with no compensation, loaner or rental. If I didn't have a spare vehicle that would be been 4 months of renting one. Will I miss my Short Bus.... sure.

But previous to my JTM I always had street performance based vehicles or low rider trucks. The sound of a V8 and blower whine makes me smile or giggle to myself.

Maybe down the road I'll find a well worn JT and make it a project WITHOUT a PenaShit motor

I can't say I blame you.

At this point in my life, I need something that goes.

If the JT starts to lay down regularly, IT is going.

I might have been crazy cycling through vehicles the way I did, but it helped ensure I was never left stranded all these years.

Keep em new, mod em lightly, don't get too attached.

This is definitely my last Jeep product. Hoping after they replace my back up camera and radio that it fixes my gremlins that I've had. I blamed on Tazer, but code said radio was issue and they are going to replace it all. I will just drive the Gladiator until it eventually fails. Black vehicles make my hands sweat.

Retired. Finally !!
I, too, will never own a black vehicle again. At least here in Texas. You can clean it up, man they look pretty. Drive for a few miles; man they look like crap. I had an all black vehicle, all black interior. Here. In Texas. What was I thinking ?? All summer long I had to unlock the doors, open ALL four doors and the rear hatch, then go have a vape for a few. Pray for a breeze, any breeze. Sometimes I stood there, pumping the doors like I'm trying to exorcise a nasty fart. Curse at myself if I forgot to toss the towel over my steering wheel, because that thing was hotter than the doorknob to Hell.

Dark tinted the windows at dark as the law allows. It helped....slightly.

Just turn on the A/C you say ? Does NO good, it's sucking air at probably 165* or more, no exaggeration. Let the heat blow out naturally, less stress on the A/C.

Good thing the hot weather in Texas only lasts from March through November (where's that sarcasm emoji ??).

Never again.

I think I’ve done all of this on my current one. It’s getting a paint job eventually. Just gotta find a spot that’ll do what I want them to do. Have my paint codes saved and everything.

Starlink arrived.

It fits really nice above the sound bar. So nice in fact that i added some foam tape on the top, bottom and sides and slid it in there and secured it with a massive zip tie.

If it doesn't rattle on my commute the next couple days we'll call it permanent.

The power is temporary, but honestly if it works fine I would consider just hardwiring this little inverter to a switch power sourced and tucking the wiring away somewhere handy.

It would be nice to be able to just grab this cord and plug and toss it out the window and plug it into the house when the internet goes down here.

Honestly. Whatever works that doesnt cost money is fine. Lol. I am not picky and it doesnt need to be magazine worthy. It needs to work and be out the way.
