Only thing stopping me is that massive teardown to put new speakers in. 😂
Right? I'd have done it already if it didn't mean taking the entire dash apart. Granted, more because I'd likely find other crap to do while I'm in there increasing the overall cost well past the speakers.

I did the roll bar and dash, but skipped the knee speakers. With a tiny amp, it sounds great.

I’ve been eyeing Memphis replacements for sub and they I’ll bar speakers. There are so many other things I want to get done that I consider “mo betta” to put my cash towards though. It’ll get done eventually.

This is the problem: The hierarchy of what it is I wanna do vs what I ought to do. As much time as I spend in the saddle, better audio would make a lotta sense... but I need a Smartcap (or an Alibaba knockoff!) first...

I have a Memphis 10” behind the rear passenger side seat. It sounds great.

Yep. I was lucky and had a lot done already that were tasteful upgrades that I most likely would have done myself. As far as the cap, I’ll give OVS the nod. It’s a solid piece of gear that I’m glad to have. Limited aftermarket for it but that suites me just fine. A few molle panels, some cross bars for the top and I’m good to go.

I've been eyeing that one too.

I need to see if there's an equivalent that's cheaper from CDT.

Same here. I would have dropped easy another $5K out of the gate additional to get what I did and the deal I got was still pretty damned good compared to similar mileage/trim/condition with a much longer fly and drive.

Problem is I keep using that to justify everything I've spent so far on it.

OVS is on the list but a couple locals on FB Marketplace have imported the Ali Baba caps I'm considering. I'm gonna start a thread on that in a minute. (recovering from knee scoping yesterday has me lurking)

I honestly didn’t shop. A local audio shop I trust had it in stock. Instant gratification. But no regrets.
