Do you get any added growl out of it?
The OEM filter box is big enough to fit that? I admit I have not paid much attention to it, but none of my other vehicles have had that kind of space. I may have too look into one of those.

there is. It fills the airbox. The mopar box is bigger, too

What am I looking at here? Is one the stock box and the other an aftermarket? I saw a previous post with a flat factory type K&N filter and also a cone style filter. Which sir box does the larger cone type fit?

smaller is the factory airbox lid. Larger is the Mopar intake components. Either of the filters pictured will fit either.

So the larger lid is an upgrade available from mopar that fits the stock bottom and had a larger diameter outlet to the motor? I assume it comes with the larger rubber hose to connect it up to the engine?

Thanks for the detailed reply. I have a Tazer mini but that option doesn't show up on menu. Which radio do u have? The 8"?
Yes the 8". You might have to download the manual from Tazer's website to figure it out.

Very cool. Thank you. Have you got a part number handy for that lid, tube and filter?
i Dont. Just type “mopar intake for jl” in a search bar. I got mine off Amazon.
