Same here. I was helping a friend move a bunch of stuff from the back of his old property. You can't really tell how steep this incline is in the photo, but I was thankful to be in the Jeep instead of the 2WD 1-ton that it replaced.Look ma, I'm really a truck!

My old operations manager housed hockey players for a few years. It didn't end well. Came home early one day and caught his wife and one player under the sheets. What I love about the Gladiator is I can have my Jeep & my Truck too.
We're going to (hopefully) billet some hockey players this year, so been picking up some bedroom and living room furniture for their space. Today, I picked up a nice couch and oversize chair for $100 in great shape too. The Jolly Green Mojave did it's duty!

Chris's wife is about 12 years younger than him. We all told him what we thought. He didn't listen. Felt really bad for his little boy.@Rusty PW Yikes that's not a good situation at all.
Thankfully at our age I'm not to worries about that. With our kids grown and gone it will be a nice change of pace. We've hosted a dozen or so Foreign Exchange students of the years so we're used to how things go.
Damn it's getting bad.... Now Rubicon and Mojave owners are trying to be "Max-Tow" equipped.Cool. Mine are -6 for comparison. Also included a couple of pics of fender lip extensions specifically for the gladiator from Amazon…. It’s amazing how that little fender extension keeps so much road debris and slinging dirt / mud off the side of the vehicle.

I wish my diesel Rubicon was "MaxTow" equipped. That would solve a lot of issues. I'd be happy just with the MaxTow payload vs the tow rating.Damn it's getting bad.... Now Rubicon and Mojave owners are trying to be "Max-Tow" equipped.![]()
I kinda remember a similar situation but to the East of you in IL but many are on 5-10 miles squares of land.More trails than roads?
But here - every other mile road is considered a "farm to market" road so is hard surfaced.
Where possible, roads are laid out in a square grid with a section of land in the middle. Roads are N/S or E/W about a mile apart. Every-other one is hard surfaced in much of the state
Of course we've got some really hilly areas where that's just not possible, quite a bit of the state, actually, but where it is possible, that's the layout.
You walk around a section, you walk 4 miles.
I'd like to have the diesel one but it was released later than mine.I wish my diesel Rubicon was "MaxTow" equipped. That would solve a lot of issues. I'd be happy just with the MaxTow payload vs the tow rating.
6k towing is plenty, but the 1k payload is underwhelming.
It times I realize that I should of got the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel instead of the Gladiator. But I wanted a diesel Gladiator.
Yesterday, the dog I took the Gladiator up to the Mt Hood National Forest and explored around. Found a back way into Clear Lake.![]()
