Ok, not “my” gladiator, but we rented one through Turo for our Maui vacations. It’s a sport s with all the electric goodies on it. I gotta say, it’s lovely driving around on these smaller tires, compared to the 35s on mine. It’s fun spending some time in a different model with different options. Gas mileage has been great on it. But that’s mostly because of all the traffic where I live.

We have taken this one all over the island for hikes. It’s nice because we can park where a lot of others can’t. It’s been the best rental vehicle we have ever had for Maui. Very convenient. Plus it has carplay and all the other goodies.

There are so many gladiators here. Lots of locals driving them. It’s cool to see. No one jeep waves here, because most wranglers are rentals and I don’t think the locals want to be waving at us tourist.

My friend’s family rented a JTR. He normally drives a tundra. He is enjoying the gladiator too. His rental has a lift and larger tires with 20” rims. Not our cup of tee, but fits right in on Maui.

Today we took the gladiators up to the summit of Haleakala crater. We dropped on off at a lower parking lot and then headed up to the summit. From there we hiked 12 miles through the crater and to the first gladiator. Then drove back to the summit to pick the the other one. It was epic.

Wheeled and camped in Ouray and Telluride with really cool people and really shitty weather....
We can now talk about "that one time on Imogene when a thunderstorm turned into a snow storm which lead to mud slides and closed trails...." Did not get to hit everything we planned....the weather was stormy and trails were being shut down... @Frank @molevich @Wylie E @Offroadnewbie

Went to Starbucks for a nitro cold brew following a Harbor Freight visit (40% off a sweet bench vise).

Departing Starbucks in my latte rated heap, I spotted this JT doing a heavy haul. Managed to park and grab my camera just in time.

Cought the fracking virus and spent a week in isolation. Got bored and used the Gladiator as a demonstration for visual distortion in photography.

Off couse, black makes things smaller but the iphone wide angle makes the jeep tiny in comparison to a Lotus anyway.

This would be the more correct size relation, taken with the 2x zoom of the iphone.
Funny to see that the Lotus is actually shorter in total than the jeeps wheelbase…
