Thanks, on the outside it’s a cement fence wall and in the inside it’s a SIG S. 😂

You'll love it.
I love mine. It's my second one, first was on a 2500 Ram. It was a first generation one designed to carrier 2 ATVs sideways.
The one on my Gladiator is a SD version. I'd of liked to have gotten the black HD like yours, but I found mine on fakebook. I couldn't pass up the deal, guy just wanted it gone. He went to a canopy. When I showed up, he had a bunch of front runner and Yakima stuff he added in, just wanted it out of his garage. I paid less for all of it than the extras would cost new. Older gentleman, he was super nice. We ended up talking about the difference between his Mojave and my Rubicon for a while.

I wanted a RTT for about a min, then my wife put it in perspective, a typical 6 pack (that's what we tell the doctor right?) camping night and 2 am trip to the bathroom or tumble down the ladder however you want to word it!
That’s why I sold my off-road trailer with a RTT…didn’t want to die crawling out at 2 am. With the tent in the bed if the Gladiator, we have a nice step stool with big wide steps to go down when nature calls.

I'm getting one today and mounting it on my bed rail just inside the tailgate
I’ve had one attached to the roll bar behind the driver rear seat forever, but I’m sick of the noise on bumpy roads when it shifts a little. I just ordered elements for the jeep and other two cars.

In my buggy its on the floor right in front of the seat ... but that seat is fixed in place I figue in the bed under the cover it would out of the way in not make noise in the cab

I’m putting two in the jeep. One in each normal car. But the daily cars are an EV and PHEV, so I’m going with e100’s. I can’t stop a lithium fire, but if the fire were unrelated, could stop it from getting to the batteries potentially. The Jeep is getting one 100 and one 50. I haven’t decided on mounting spots yet, but I think one will go on the seat adjustment bar.

Downside to the elements (and I personally have an e50), is that you have to be stupid close to the fire for it to be effective. Mine I store on a molle headrest cover behind my head. I can reach it, in case I'm stuck in the vehicle.

Main fire extinguishers are now on either C pillar with quick release mounts. No rattle that I can detect from roadways yet. These I have witnessed shoot +6ft, which means less need to be close to the fire source. But there's the downside of the residue it leaves behind.

So like everything Jeep, think about your use cases, I totally agree with the e100's in the ev's, but I'd recommend at least one old school halon or chemical fire extinguisher for when you don't want to be that close.

The distance variable is a great point. Thanks. Maybe I’ll relocate the traditional one to the bed next to the co2 bottle.

Life has been busy…we haven’t been out fishing as much as we’d like to.
Finally got out today….. White perch are starting to run (on our local electric only lake). They’re fun to troll for on 10’ crankbaits and/or lipless. Caught about 25-30 fish - white perch, crappie, and about 3 largemouth bass (dropshot). Nothing big and we didn’t keep anything… The white perch fishing should get better as the summer rolls on.

One word…. Ewwwwwwwwww!!! 🤣

went for a kayak ride
I wanna get me a kayak , we have several of those , no boat motor allowed "small lakes" in this state . Conway, Big Ditch,Spruce knob, etc.. would be the best way to do those a fishing Kayak for Me though.

Got off the train at 9:30 this morning, removed the Freedom Tops and headed into Manassas Battlefield National Park and on to the Salamader in Middleburg. Perfect mid 80's - a blessed day for a Florida guy to enjoy his Jeep 😎
