And finally the memorial at the Project Shoal site.

So, I tweaked my back yesterday, so instead of laying around being bored, I figured I could grab my buddy with the freshly rebuilt shoulder, and we could go exploring!
Yeah, we do too. Fortunately for us nevada is filled with them. Up until a few years ago the old homesteads in Dixie Valley were pretty much untouched, abandoned 1950's vehicles were everywhere. But people went out and recovered them and some assholes knocked the old hoses down.I LOVE exploring old sites - old farmsteads, groves where things from 100 years ago were left to rust away, that sort of thing.
It looks like the trailer is working out beautifully.Camped at Overland South! Had a great time. Also if you zoom in on the RTI ramp pic you can tell by the look on my face that I didnt beleive the random guy that spotted me that I was as far up as I could go haha. (Last pic taken by my 6 year old while I was starting to pack up lol.)

It was great! Now im mulling over driving all the way to Stoney Lonesome for a day of wheeling this weekend and using it again. But its a long way for 1 day of wheeling. It looks like the trailer is working out beautifully.
I wish. I didn’t even use our trailer this summer with all the moving clutter blocking it into the garage. We changed our minds and put it outside this week, to make more room in the garage. While I’d rather it be better protected, I think it’ll get used 10 times more now.It was great! After this weekend I will be taking it apart so I can get the rack powdercoated by my buddy, bedline the bed, paint the exterior, and swap the heavy wheels for some ram 2500 wheels. By the spring it will have transformed. Also ill be looking to add more pieces like tool box and maybe drawer system etc depends on what deals I can find.I wish.
