Agree to disagree. Mine will be beat to hell and have 200k miles on it in 6 years. It’ll be iconic if it’s still running before it’s paid off 😂
Fire in his or her soul. I like it. Power comes from internal gumption, intent, and goals. Wrong or right... let's hope they are right.

My 2021 JTM has 'Gladiator' stickers on the right and left fenders. But, to each his own. I prefer stock visuals. And having JEEP in bold letters means much much more to me than GLADIATOR.
Eric on the tailgate to each his own but anyone driving a 2021 Gladiator , should take off the Gladiator tacky vinyl and lay on the 80th anniversary emblem. My Mojave has them although it is not an 80th anniversary edition it is the right year and I celebrated 80 years of Jeep……..Jack

I have my JTR modded and all done top quality. Look at the sig. That said, I am married to the thing as it's probably not really worth close to 40K, maybe 35. Sad that the resale was so solid and now it's in the tank. 2025's are selling for 10K less than I paid for my '22. All of us JT owners are loosing money big time.

Perhaps we get this thread back on track , I agree with most here it sort of sucks how mods go, if you need the coin and can swap parts you might do better , then again as a guy said pick a number throw it out there and see what happens. I also think $50K is a bit high but put it up for say $45,000, and sell the mods in the ad and quality of mods and value and pull out the turn key thing , get what you want done right , right out the door!
Good Luck sorry ya have to move on!….Jack

No offense, just help me understand. Just curious to the OP and others who change the tailgate.
What inspires folks to take the iconic 'JEEP' off of the tailgate and put on 'GLADIATOR'? Is it just a cool thing?

It is not cool. Like taking a BMW or Harley Davidson emblem off. Not cool.

To me, it's kinda like the 'angry eyes' grill that some put on the JK and other Jeep grills. I chuckle when I see them. It's usually a high schooler.... and that much I understand. I was young and dumb, 4 or 5 decades ago. Now I am just old and opinionated from experience. Please keep it real.
Same reason yours probably looks the way it does. Because you like it

What I’m more curious about is why it says Overland on the hood. I actually thought to myself that I like the fond and coloring, but I actually have an Overland. lol.
I guess I decided to put overland on the hood since it’s stitched into the leather seats
Also what options does your real overland have compared to a sport s. I’m just curious what I’m lacking I don’t wanna take anything from your authentic overland

The Overland was the luxury highway model, that came with 18" street tires, which has been discontinued. Mine came with every option available at the time. It included leather seats and a wrapped grab handle that covered the exposed bolts many use for phone mounts. It's ironic in that Overlanding refers to using the truck in a manner that is the opposite of what the Overland model was sold for. It is also the model that was used for most of the stock Jeep photos that show it pulling a trailer.

Maybe I should scrape my decal
Off then. I’d hate for people to think that about mine

If you like it, leave it there. It's your opinion that is the most important. Many don't really even pay attention to the wording or what it might be referring to.

LOL. Nothing wrong with an Overland. I’d much rather have my Overland than a Sport. Mine has done more towing, hauling, and off-roading than most Jeeps. The only thing I hated was the soft, floaty ride, street tires, and the shiny badges. That was all replaced when it was brand new. None of it cost very much except the tires. I paid $150 for a complete brand new take off Rubicon LE suspension. Easy swap too.

Why do you have Overland on your seats? You bought Overland seats or seat covers.

I bought a new sport s that came with leather seats with overland stitched into the seat under the head rest. Why, idk. I didn’t ask the dealer why I got nicer leather seats than a sport. Is this a better non deuchy response ?

Someone did some swapping, then.

These are Overland stitched seats in an Overland.

Jeep Gladiator What do yall think my Gladiator is worth? jt-seats

Was it brand new, untitled? Had it been ordered by someone who also leather seats put in, then they didn't pick it up?

The overland dash is more "dressy" looking, the ride is great, smooth, compared to the others (only Mojave matches or beats it but it's a far far heavier truck)

Overland has the "shiny" trim on the steering wheel and other areas, leather dash insert and brake lever, etc.

Jeep Gladiator What do yall think my Gladiator is worth? jt-dash

Bottom line - like said - selling privately, you have to find someone who wants your mods as you have done them (a small subset of buyers) and someone with cash. If they must finance the purchase, then the bank they use will not loan them anything close to what you will want out of it. So you will be limited there, as well.

Dealers here, when you want to trade a Jeep in, they typically want the Jeep put back to stock, as it came from the factory. They won't give you squat for your add-ons, ad that's because of what people here have already said - it's a smaller set of buyers because you must find someone with the same tastes you had, and who like the same equipment you put on it.

The overland package is a cosmetic joke! Did I like my 2020 Overland, sure, but it is certainly not a Mojave!!!
