Does anyone have a guide or rule of thumb on what type of wheel offset yields what type of tire poke beyond the stock gladiator fender?

I have 1.75” spacers now with 35 wildpeak M/T. I like the look a lot but I’d like to the upgrade the stock Mojave wheels and get 37’s…and drop the spacers. What offset do I need to get that ~2” poke look? Thanks!

17x8.5 with a -6 offset on 37x12.5/17 tire. Your wheel width will make just as much difference as the offset. But this is my setup.

ok, perfect! That looks about how mine is now. So I should probably stick with a similar spec wheel as that! Thanks!

17x9 -38 on 37 trail grappler with stock fender on Mojave. Waiting for Motobilt fenders to arrive and then off to paint. Should gain a little more poke lol.

I dislike that most aftermarket wheels gravitate towards more negative offsets (I think its a trend with the retarded rollin' coal/Carolina lean/35s on 24" wheel crowd). The wider Rubicon axles compound the issue.

That said, my JTR has 17x9 (-12) wheels. I've got about 1.5"+ of poke. In reality, I wish they were a +12 offset to suck them in about an inch. It was exceptionally hard to find a wheel I liked that didn't have a ridiculous negative offset. -12 is about the best I could find.

Is what it is.

I did -6 with 35x12.5 and think its perfect, just like the first post. Son did -38 with 37x12.5 and his does have a lot more poke. I’ll get pics as soon as his truck is back.

I really like the AEV wheels they are actually +25. A buddy has them on his 392 and still has some wheel poke with 37s but the wheel is supposed to tuck them up a little more. Im new to all of this but that seems confusing to me lol.
Seems like it’s a roll of the dice. Someone needs to make a calculator.

That with stock lift too? My wife makes me park in the garage so I’m over here running calculations in my head like Russell Crowe in A Beautiful Mind. ?
